A man was washed up on a small island because of a ship accident. Every day he checked to see if there were (ship) passing-by (路过). He hoped that someone could help him, no one seemed to come. He said to himself, "I (lose) everything, however, I am still alive. I still have hopes and chances." So he tried to build a little house out of the wood (protect) him from dangerous animals.
a sunny and hot day, he was busy looking for food. Suddenly, he found his little house was on fire. The smoke was rising into the sky. "It is (bad) thing I have ever met on the island." He thought. He couldn't do anything at that moment but cried (weak).
Early the next morning, while he (repair) his tools, a ship arrived on the island. Yes, people came to save him! " did you know I was here?" The man asked. "We saw (you) smoke." They replied.
So never lose heart, no matter what kind of problems you meet.
