Many people watch the evening news and wonder if they can do something to help victims (受害者) in danger, but few of them take action (采取行动).
Woody, 1 , is not like most people. When Woody saw a news story about a big fire in California, he found a good 2 to help.
In the article, a fire victim lost 3 , but he was happy to have an RV (野营车) to live in. Woody started thinking, "What if more people could have an RV?" Turning to his then 7-year-old daughter Luna, he asked, "What do you 4 driving an RV from our home in Colorado to California to give it to a family in need?"
Her 5 was surprising! "Aw, Dad, people will be proud (自豪的) of us."
Woody started to 6 money online and bought the first RV. The owner even sold her RV at a lower 7 when she heard Woody's plan. Donations (捐赠) then began to come, and some RV owners also 8 their RVs to Woody. The Dad and daughter have not stopped bringing RVs to fire victims since!
Woody and Luna have made the 20-hour drive to and from California many times over the past few years. They have 9 95 RVs to families in need. They have made a 10 difference in the fire victims' lives.
Woody is certainly a man of action, not words! We should all be more like Woody and Luna, too!
