When Edward came home,his father asked what books he bought. "I bought no books, "said he,they were very hungry then. I think I can wait for my book still next New Year"
"My dear boy, "said his father, "here are some books for you as a New﹣year gift. I saw you give the money to the poor family. It was nice of you to do so. Be ready to help others and you will always have a Happy New Year. "
