I had a chance to serve my mum. I want to 1 my story because I hope that others can learn something from it.

Last month, my mum fell ill. I went to the hospital with her. The doctor said she had to undergo surgery(进行手术). I stayed with her 2 the surgery. Then I looked after her 3 she was in hospital. She seemed to be in high spirits, although she got aches from the surgery

 A week later, the doctor said it was okay for mum to go home. I learnt to4 her at home. I cooked food and washed clothes for her. She said that she could do all these things  5 .I was sure that she could, but I wouldn't let her do that. I hardly ever did any housework before. After doing it, I knew it was toilsome(辛苦的)for mum to care about the whole family. I thought it was time for me to6 independence(独立)and help her.

 I learn much from the experience of serving my mother and I hope everyone can have the chance to help someone close to you.
