There is a tree beside the window.My family doesn't know the name of the tree. We see it first at the start of spring.The tree has little yellow buds(芽).At first,I think the yellow buds are the leaves(树叶)of the tree.I think the cold weather makes the tree leaves yellow.
But a few weeks later,there are some green leaves on the tree.Then I know the yellow buds are flowers!They are so lovely!I feel very happy.Mum and Dad get a book from the library.We learn about some things about the tree. It's forsythia(连翘). It grows in spring.It's the first sign(迹象)of spring!
