The Lantern Festival is a traditional festival in China.It is celebrated on the fifteenth day of the first month of the lunar year.Before the Lantern Festival，people begin to make lanterns.Most of the lanterns are made in the shape of different animals，vegetables，fruits and other things.While making lanterns，people usually write riddles（谜语） on lanterns.
During the Lantern Festival，people usually have sweet dumplings together.Then they go outside with family or friends to enjoy the beautiful lanterns and play fun lantern word guessing games.If you are lucky enough，you can see the dragon dances or the lion dances.
