Jack was a trouble boy. He would talk in a1 voice during school and make jokes about others.
Once, when Miss Green paired me up with him for the new research, I2 it at once. But Miss Green asked me to give it a try. So , today I had to do the research with Jack.
"Alice, the 3 !" shouted Mom in the kitchen. I didn't want to open the door at all, but...
"Welcome, Jack. Come on in," I opened the door and said.
Jack walked into my house and said 4 to my family. He looked very polite. Then I led him to my room.
"Wait, is that you?" he pointed at a picture of me on the wall and asked. In the picture, I only had a few teeth. And I looked a little funny.
"It's my5 ," I answered, though I didn't like telling lies(谎言).
"I heard you! The toothless girl is Alice, not me!" said my sister Helen beside us.
"I knew it!" Jack said. They laughed ! But I didn't like their words.
Finally, we started to do the research. I thought it was going to be a 6 afternoon. But what happened then really surprised me.
We read, learned and discussed.7 went well. And Jack was really nice! He listened to me8 , wrote down all the important points, and shared his opinions with me.
After we finished our research, Jack said goodbye to me and my family. What he did today9 what I thought of him. Maybe I should try to find more10 points of him.
