November 7th is coming at last! (几乎) every student in our school is looking forward to it with great excitement, for the Sports Day is (发生) on that big day. Our school has the great event (一次) a year.
(清晰地), the Sports Day is one of the most popular events in our school. It wins the (心) of all the students. This year, the event is going to be even more exciting, for there will be a swimming (比赛) in the new pool. As the event is coming (接近), everyone is working hard to get ready for it. On the playground, you could see the sportsmen's (最富有的) display (展示) of talent and sportsmanship, giving their best in every activity. "Our class had a (讨论) about the sportsmen last Friday and I (计划) to take part in the basketball game." said a boy from Grade Eight.
The Sports Day isn't just about winning, it's about coming together, supporting each other, and enjoying the spirit of sportsmanship.
