In England winter is not very cold and summer is not very 1. There is not a great 2 between summer and winter. Why is this?
England has a warm winter and a 3 summer because it is an island(岛) country. In winter, the sea is 4 than the land. The winds from the sea 5 warm air to England. In summer, the sea is cooler than the land. The winds from the sea bring cool air to England.
The 6 winds blow over England all the year round. They blow from the southwest. They are 7 winds. They bring 8 to England. England has a lot of rain all the year round. The west of England is 9 than the east. More rain falls there.
The four season are all 10 months long. If you want to visit England, you can go there in each season.

How do I like to travel?
Many people like to travel by plane, but I don't like it because an airport is usually far from the city. You have to get there early and wait for hours for the plane to take off and it is often late. You can't open the windows. You can't choose the food. Going by plane is fast, but it takes hours to get out of the airport and go into the city.
I like travelling by train. I think trains are safe. Railway stations are usually in cities. When you are late for a train, you can catch another one. You can walk around on the train and open the windows. You can see many interesting things on your way. I know it takes a little more time.
I also like travelling by car. You can start your journey whenever you want to, and you don't need to get to a railway station or a bus stop. You can also carry many things with you in a car. But sometimes there are too many cars on the road.

A long time ago, there was an emperor. He had a beautiful garden. In the garden, there was a little nightingale(夜莺) singing very beautifully.
One day, the emperor heard about this little bird's beautiful voice. He asked his guards to bring her to him. As soon as the emperor heard the nightingale's voice, he said, "Put her in a golden cage, so she can stay and sing for me whenever I want to hear her sing."
The little bird was so unhappy about being kept in the cage that she stopped singing one day. The emperor was very angry. He ordered the scientists in his palace to make a robot bird for him. The bird could sing very beautifully, too. The emperor was pleased.
Soon the robot bird became old. It no longer sang beautiful songs. Just at that time, the emperor became very weak. One morning, while lying in bed, the emperor wanted it to sing once again. But the robot bird couldn't sing any more.Suddenly the nightingale landed on the window. She began to sing her most beautiful song. The emperor was very happy! He became better and better each day.
After the emperor was well, he changed a lot and became kind to his people. From then on, all his people cherished(爱戴) him for his love and kindness.
One of the easiest ways to keep fit is to do jogging. Jogging is the name for a very gentle(舒缓的) running-it is just a little faster than walking.
Start slow joging 20 meters, then walk 20 meters. Little by little, if you are not feeling very tired, you may do more jogging and less walking. Finally, jog the whole way. It will be easy for you to start jogging for 15 minutes twice a week , slowly, increase this to 20—30 minutes every day .The longer you join in jogging , the more you enjoy it and the healthier you will become. Some people like jogging alone, and others enjoy doing it with friends. Jogging in groups makes more people keener(热心的), because you just can not stay in bed while there is a group of friends waiting outside.
If you want to start jogging, prepare a pair of comfortable shoes and a determined mind.
