"Oh, what a terrible mirror! It doesn't work!"he said angrily.
The next day, on his way to buying some chocolate, he saw a little girl crying sadly. The rich boy went up to her and asked what had happened. The little girl said she couldn't find her parents. "Don't worry. I'll help you,"the rich boy said. So they went to look for them together. Finally, they found her parents. They were so thankful for his help. It was a beautiful spring morning. There wasn't a cloud in the sky, and the sun was warm but not too hot, so Mr Hunt was surprised(惊讶) when he saw an old man at the bus stop with a big, strong black umbrella ( 雨伞) in his hand.
Mr Hunt said to him, "Do you think it is going to rain today?""No," said the old man, "I don't think so."
"Then are you carrying the umbrella to keep the sun off you?"
"No, the sun is not very hot in spring."
Mr Hunt looked at the big umbrella again, and the man said, "I am an old man, and my legs are not very strong, so I really need a walking stick. But when I carry a walking stick, people will say 'Look at that poor old man. 'and I don't like that. When I carry an umbrella in fine weather, people only say,'Look at that stupid(愚蠢的) man."

Once upon a time, a cat and a mouse were good friends. They lived a happy life in the same house. One day they went to the market and bought a big piece of cheese. They put it under a tree for winter.
A few days later, the mouse wanted to eat the cheese. He told the cat that he had to join a baby's birthday party and then left. The mouse ate half of the cheese and returned home. When the cat asked him what the baby's name was, the mouse said" Halfgone".
After a few days, the mouse wanted to eat some cheese again. He told the cat he had to join another baby's birthday party. He finished the other half and told the cat the baby was called "Allgone".
When winter came, the cat went to the tree to get the cheese. But he found nothing. From then on, mice and cats were not friends any more.
