These years, people are angry with some train passengers (乘客) in our country.
One year ago, a video1Zhou took a window seat on a train from Hunan to Guangzhou, but it was not her seat. Zhou2to move when the window seat passenger found her3already taken. Zhou still sat in the window seat4she left the train. Videos of Zhou shouting at the officer quickly went5on Weibo. Zhou couldn't take trains in China for 1806because she couldn't7the rules.
Later, a video showed a man named Sun He sitting in the8seat on a train from Jinan to Beijing. When people asked him to move, he said he could not9and needed a wheelchair. The China Railway Jinan Group later told him that he couldn't have a10travel for about11months, too.
Two months later, we got another 26 news. A foreign woman took12person's seat on a train and would not leave. When passengers began taking video of her with their13, she shouted and threw water at them. The woman was then taken away.14 , she said sorry to the passengers.
They show that we need to behave in a15way. If people don't follow laws and rules, they should be punished appropriately (相对应地),the Paper noted.

"It takes me a long time to fall asleep. When I get into bed, the first thing I do is to message five of my best friends. Sometimes we chat for more than an hour. When I wake up the next morning I will have a hundred notices. Some of these notices are messages from my friends. " |

"My parents always complain that I spend too much time on my phone. We often have an argument (争吵) at the dinner table, because I check messages while we are eating. I don't understand why they get so angry about it. They spend more time watching television every night." |

"I take my phone everywhere with me, even to the bathroom! To be honest, I feel a little nervous when I don't have my phone with me because one of my friends may need to contact me. Sometimes I feel my phone vibrant(震动),but when I check ,there are no messages. It's a little strange." |
From this July, people in Shanghai are being asked to sort (分类) their garbage (垃圾). They must put their garbage in different boxes to improve the city's environment.
Until now, a lot of garbage has been put into one place. The garbage is then taken to landfill sites (垃圾填满场). These landfill sites, however, can be bad for the land and water.
The new plan asks people to put their garbage into different boxes, one for each kind of garbage. The brown one is for 'wet garbage' (such as food waste). The red one is for harmful waste (such as the medicine). The blue one is for recyclable waste (such as paper and clothes). And finally, the black one is for "dry garbage" (covers many things, such as pencils.)
Each day, Shanghai produces 22,000 tons of household garbage. If you put it together, it will be the same as a big building! Reducing that amount will surely help the environment. However, it needs all the people to make it happen. Just as Shanghai's mayor, Ying Yong, has said, "Garbage sorting should become the most popular thing. ______________, I hope everyone can take part in."
Culture TV programs have become more popular at the start of the Chinese New Year. Two weeks after the show Chinese Poetry Conference (《中国诗词大会》) ended, a new program, Readers, has stepped into our life. Literature (文学) Reading becomes popular again in China.
The weekly talk show is produced and hosted by Dong Qing. And she often invites people to read aloud parts of articles and books they like or write. People in the show also share stories from their own life. They were also given different topics in each episode. The first episode was about 80 minutes long, and its topic was "Encounter(遇见) ".
Three days after the program was shown first on CCTV-1 on Saturday, Readers got 9.2 points out of 10 on Douban, one of China's most popular review sites. Internet users have called it "a breath (呼吸) of fresh air" among all kinds of shows in China.
Through the poetic words, the readers brought the almost-lost habit of reading aloud back into our daily life, making the people enjoy the beauty of the language.
It's hard to refuse a delicious banana. They taste good and you don't have to wash them before eating them. However, British scientists say that the fruit may disappear by 2050.
One reason for this is weather change. Shouldn't bananas grow more easily if it's hotter outside? In fact, the perfect temperature for growing bananas is between 24 and 32 C. If temperatures get too high, they will stop growing. If temperatures keep high, ten of the countries will produce fewer bananas, such as India. By 2050, the fruit may die out.
Diseases (疾病) are another danger to bananas. Unlike other crops, the bananas we grow come from shoot cuttings (茎段). This means that all banana plants have the same genotype (基因型). In other words, if a disease is able to kill one plant, it could kill them all easily.
One serious disease is called Panama. It goes everywhere quickly. It has been across South Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Australia. If one banana farm gets the disease, it will take 30 years until it's able to grow bananas again. Scientists can't find any ways to work out the problem now.
It's dangerous when you play with these things. If you see matches or a lighter lying around, tell an adult (成年人). |
Don't stay in your house! Although fires are scary, NEVER hide in a cupboard or under beds when there is a fire. |
