Once upon a time, there was a little elephant. He went through a river with his mother. It was hard for him. Suddenly he saw a bird in the sky. The bird was flying over the river quickly. Then he thought, "If I could fly, I could move faster. And I could see the world from the top.
It would be great." In order to (为了) learn to fly, Little Elephant climbed a tree and fell down onto the ground. The monkey saw him and said, "Little Elephant, we all have our own (特有的) abilities. I can't fly, but I can climb the tree." The lion said, "I also can't fly, but I can jump across a wide river." Little Elephant's father and mother said to him, "We elephants have great strength (力量). We can move things easily." Little Elephant understood (明白). He used his long nose as a hook (钩子) and moved a large branch.

He held the paintbrush and added eyes to the dragon. The dragon really flew away.
One day, a poor man took a bag of rice to a town. The rice was on the back of his horse, but it fell down on his way to the town. The rice was too heavy to lift and he didn't know what to do. He hoped another farmer will come. After a while, a man went by with a horse. But he was a rich (富有的) man living nearby. The rich man saw him and said to him, "Do you need help?" The poor man nodded (点头) his head. And the rich man helped the poor man lift the rice onto the horse's back. "Sir, how can I repay (报答) you?" the poor man asked. "It's easy, when you see anyone else in trouble, do the same for him." Then the rich man smiled and left.
