After nearly five years of construction, the Beijing Daxing International Airport officially opened on Sept 25m 2019. It's topped the Guandian's "seven wonders of the modern world" list. The airport has attracted great attention from home and abroad because it uses new technologies that make it smarter and more efficient. For example, the airport will use a robot-operated parking system. Drivers only need to park their cars in designated locations. Robots will then lift the cars and carry them to an empty space. When collecting their vehicles, drivers simply need to scan 2 parsing ticket如find out where to collect their cars.
The following is all about the new airport.
When your pen is broken, the battery in your toy runs out, or you have some leftover food, what do you do with these things? You will probably throw them all into one bin. But actually, all of these pieces of trash need to be sorted separately.
Garbage sorting is a big issue worldwide. In recent years, some Chinese cities have been working hard on it.
Shanghai has worked with Alipay to create a "green account" service for its residents. Account holders get points by correctly sorting their garbage. Through the Alipay app, they can exchange the points for milk, phone cards and other products. The city is asking all of its residents to sort their garbage into four groups: wet, recyclable, harmful and dry. Wet waste is also known as household waste. "They are things you don't want but that pigs can eat," Guangzhou Daily explained. Paper, metal, glass and other things that can be reused are recyclable waste. Harmful waste includes things like medicine, batteries and fluorescent bulbs. Finally, any waste that's not wet, recyclable or harmful will go in the "dry waste" bin.
Many other Chinese cities are also using this method to sort their garbage. For example, Shenzhen has been sorting its garbage into the same four groups since 2012. Students there also receive waste-sorting guidebooks that they must study.
China is improving its waste -sorting efforts. There is still a long way to go. But it's never too late to learn how to sort your trash properly and protect the environment.
If you don't sort your garbage, all of it will go to a landfill and be buried together. These landfills can take up large areas of ground that could have been used for planting trees or crops. The electronic waste you throw away, such as batteries, can pollute the soil and groundwater. Other pieces of garbage, like the metal part of a pen, can be used to make other things if they are properly recycled.

One day, a successful businessman was getting ready to go to his office in the morning. When he opened the door of his car, a stray dog sleeping under his car suddenly came out and bit his leg! He wasand threw a rock at the dog, although he was not able toit.
Upon reaching his office, the businessman called a meeting of his managers. During the, he took out his anger on his managers. His managers were upset about this, and took out their own anger on the employees working under them. Gradually, the businessman's anger spread throughwhole company.
The businessman was still angryhe returned home. His wife opened the door. She asked him, "Why are you so late today?" The manat his wife, "I didn't go to the office to play soccer. I went to work. So don't irritate me with your stupid!"
His wife was upset about being shouted at for no reason. She turned her anger on their son, who was watching TV. "This is all you do. You have no intereststudying! Turn off the TV now!" She yelled.

Sometimes, when we are angry about, we might take out our anger on others who are not to blame for our mood. This is not fair to others — we should learn to control our anger.
After a busy morning at work, lunchtime gives me a chance to do many things, such as exercise, read or watch TV. One cultural difference I've noticed between Britain and China is what we do during lunchtime.
Here in China, workers have longer lunch breaks, which gives them enough time to take a short nap. Therefore, Chinese people usually use lunchtime to rest. I often see office workers rest their heads on their desks. The room turns into a quiet "bedroom". Once, I even saw workers in a restaurant taking short naps as well. This is also very common for students in China. After lunch, they will go back to their dormitories or classrooms to take a nap. Chinese people believe a short nap at noon can help them feel more energetic in the afternoon.
In Britain, this activity is quite uncommon. British students usually have a one-hour lunch break. Instead of napping, they fill that time by playing sports or talking with friends.
Most workers in Britain don't get the chance to nap. They generally have short lunch breaks—30 minutes to an hour. There is not enough time to have a nap. Because of the shortness of their lunch breaks, it is common for people to work through lunch or just finish their lunch at their desk.
