Lucy and Celia are students of No. 6 Middle School. Their mothers are sisters. They are in the same grade, but not in the same class. Lucy always goes to school by bike. Celia can't ride a bike. She takes a bus to school. Here is a map of their neighborhood.
Mr. Green is a music teacher in a school. He lives in an apartment building in Star Community. He is kind and all his neighbors like him.
Mark lives next to Mr. Green. He has a guitar. He always plays the guitar at night. But he can't play it well. It is very noisy. All his neighbors can't sleep well and they feel angry about that.
One Sunday, Mark comes to Mr. Green's house and wants to learn to play the guitar from Mr. Green. Mr. Green says, "Young man, I would like to teach you to play the guitar, but not today. I must talk with you first. I feel happy that you also like music, but it's not good to play the guitar at night."
From that day, Mark doesn't play the guitar at night and his neighbors begin to like him.
Please have a look at this picture. It is about 35 meters tall and it's from Kelli Pearson and her husband, Pete Davis. They made the picture on the grass at a park to remember Kobe Bryant.
"The face was from two different photos, and the body was from a different photo," said Kelli Pearson. "It's a piece of art. I tried to get his beautiful smile (微笑)."
The picture only stayed in the park for a few days, but it was very popular online.
Kobe Bryant was a world-famous basketball player. He started to play basketball when he was a little boy. And he played for 20 years with the Los Angeles Lakers. Kobe worked very hard and became one of the world's top basketball players.
In 2016, Kobe left the NBA. He tried many new things. He wrote his first book, The Mamba Mentality: How I play. He wrote a poem (诗) Dear Basketball and it was made into a short cartoon film.
Sadly, he lost his life in an air crash (空难) in California on January 26, 2020. His fans were very sad about it. They will always remember him.
Li Ming is from a poor country. He is a school boy. He is 15 years old. His birthday is coming. It is on April 3rd. He wants his mother to buy him a pair of shoes as a birthday present because he has no shoes. One day, Li Ming walked past a shoe shop at the street corner. He was happy to see his favorite shoes. When he had a look at his feet, he was sorry for himself.
He walked away and thought how to tell his mother about it. He knew she would give him the shoes if she could. But he also knew that his mother had no money. "What should I do?" he thought.
In the park, he saw a girl in a wheel (轮子) chair. The girl was pushing (推) two wheels with her hands. She was too poor. He looked down at his feet. "Having no shoes is better than(比) having no feet. I'm luckier(幸运) than her, " he thought.

We'll start next Monday. And now we're busy for it. It's very hot in India now, so we'd take our sunglasses and cool clothes. I want to take my to take some photos. My mom asks me to keep away from places. And she also asks me not to swim . My dad asks me not to in the sun too long.

Bruce: No, it was sunny but not hot. The weather was very nice.

Bruce: . I stayed at my friend's house.
As we know, our parents' love for us is worth remembering. My mother always remembers my birthday. When it comes every year, my mother have a birthday party for me.
