My father and I used to climb, the mountain near my house. Walking together, we always had a lot of conversations. He would tell me about his childhood and school years, and I would share my happy and sad moments with him. We were just like brother. Without the mountain-climbing that we both enjoyed, we couldn't have enough time to spend together because my father was very busy.
Once we decided to climb, a very high mountain far away from our house. It was so challenging for me because I was only ten years old then. During the first few hours of climbing, I enjoyed the flowers and trees, and the birds' singing, but as time passed, I got a pain in both of my legs. I wanted to quit (放弃) climbing. In fact, I hated it at that moment. But my father said to me: "You can always see a beautiful sky at the top of the mountain, but you can't see it before you reach the top. Only there at the top, can you see all of the nice things, just like in life."
At that time, I was too young to understand his words, But later after that, I got to know the meaning of hope and confidence in my life, I found myself standing at the top of the sky, which was as clear as crystal (水晶).

As we grow up, we gradually develop a set of our own values (价值) or beliefs. These are Influenced (影响) by society, our family, the education we receive and so on. Once this value system is set up, it's not easy to change later in life. Financial (金融) experts say that every one also has their own belief of how to manage their money. According to our different values, experts put us in three kind. They are: the ant, the cricket (蟋蟀) and the snail. (蜗牛)
★ The ant-work first
Just like ants who work heart and soul in summer in order to store food for winter, these people don't care about enjoying the moment. They work very hard and save money they earn so that they can enjoy life when they get old and retire. The ant loves to save but they could make more out of their money if they were willing to invest in some funds and stocks (股票基金) with low risk
★ The cricket- fun first
The cricket wants to enjoy everything now and doesn't think too much about the future. They even borrow money when they really want something. Many young people now belong to this group. These people have little savings. When they get old, they might have problems. They should learn to save and buy insurance (保险).
★The snail—lives under pressure
The snail refers to people who make life difficult for themselves. They take big long-term loads (贷款) from the bank in order to buy things such as expensive houses. They are happy to take big loans even though they are not
sure they can afford (买得起) it. This can cause problems in the future. They should plan more carefully.
