One early morning, I woke up by a cell call. It was from a taxi driver. He told me he had my friend's cell phone.

My friend, Michael, left it in the taxi the night before. The driver called others, but I was the first one to answer his call.

It was a rainy morning. For taxi drivers in this big city, it's a fantastic time to make money. He asked me where he could drop the cell phone off. I told him the street where I lived. Then I quickly jumped out of bed and got dressed, so I could meet him at the corner.

When he arrived, I thanked him. And I was so happy for my friend, he moved to this country a few weeks ago – and I could only imagine(设想) how important his cell phone was to him!

I asked the taxi driver for his name, so my friend could thank him. He said my thanks were all that he needed. Then he drove off.

I e-mailed my friend telling him I had his phone. In the evening, he came to my home and I told him how I received (收到) it.

My friend was very excited to get back his cell phone. He said he would help others as possible as he could.

Walt Disney was born in 1901. The Mickey Mouse created(被创作) In 1927 made him very famous. He died in 1966, but his work and his dreams did not die. Now people all over the world enjoy his Mickey Mouse and other cartoons.

Walt Disney never gave up easily. One summer, Walt Disney wanted a job in a post office, but they told him that he was too young. He went home, drew some lines on his face. And put on his father's suit and hat. Then he went back to the same office and told them he was 18. He got the job finally.

Later in his life, Mr. Disney had a dream, that is to build a new kind of amusement park. It would be clean and beautiful. The children could play happily there and the adults could live in nice hotels. It would be fun for people of all ages. Mr. Disney drew a plan for this park. It was called Disneyland. Engineers told him it was an impossible dream. His family and friends thought he was mad. But Mr. Disney did not give up his idea. In1955, Disneyland opened to the public and became the most successful amusement park in the USA. Walt Disney's dream came true.

There is an old saying, "Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise." It means that we should go to bed early in the evening and get up early in the morning. It's true that our body needs enough sleep to be healthy. Children should have ten-hour sleep every night. Those who don't have enough sleep can't do their work well. They will not be clever and they may not have a bright future.

The body needs exercise as well. Walking, running, jumping, riding bike and playing games are all exercises. Exercise helps to keep the body strong and fit. It also helps the blood to move around inside the body. The blood takes food to all parts of the body. The head needs blood, too. So exercise helps people think better.

Mike likes music very much. Sometimes he goes to the concert.

Father's Day is coming. Linda wants to invite her father to dinner.

Tom is a sports fan. He often watches ball games with his classmates.

Judy is a student at a foreign language university. She wants a summer job.

Mr. Chen is a kind man. He always helps other people.

A girl complained(抱怨)to her father about her bad life. She felt tired. She didn't know what to do and wanted to 1.

If you love to watch the NBA games, you must know Stephon Marbury. He's from New York, and both of his parents are workers. He started to play basketball  he was three. He joined the CBA in 2010. And he took it (serious). His statue(雕像)is in front of Beijing's Wukesong Stadium (体育馆).

Marbury is asking  a Chinese green card, or permanent residence permit (永久居留证). China started (give) permanent residence permits to people from other countries in 2004. About 5,000 foreigners (外国人)have the permits (许可证) now. If Marbury can get his green card, he'll be the first foreign (play) to get the permit.

"I'll feel the same with the card  without(没有)the card. I won't feel different. Beijing is still home for me and it's in my heart," (say) the 38-year-old American.

He has three (child), two daughters and a son. Before long, he will act in a movie named New Yorker in Beijing. The movie is about his story.
