Some food was quite delicious, but Jenny thought the fast food was terrible. When the weather was fine, they went to the beach to swim. The sea was beautiful and they had a good time.

    It is easier to go down the hill than to climb up the hill, so it is easier to fall into bad habits（习惯）than into good ones. 

    Bad habits do not come suddenly. They come little by little without one being aware of（意识到）their danger. School boys first pick up little bad habits in the school and on the street. When they can't write their lessons, they copy from their schoolmates. If they see bigger boys smoking, they also want to learn to smoke. If they see their friends gambling（赌博）, they want to gamble. When they get bigger, the habits become stronger and stronger, so that they can no longer get rid of（摆脱, 除掉）them. From copying, they learn to steal, from gambling, they learn to cheat（欺骗）. At last they become distrusted（不信任） by everybody. How necessary it is that we get rid of the bad habits at the beginning. 

    Rose has four cousins. They are Ann, Betty, Peter and Bill. Rose is the oldest of them five. Betty is thirteen years old. She is two years younger than Rose and one year older than Peter. Bill is nine, and Ann, the youngest, is seven.

    Betty and Peter are good at running. But Peter runs faster. Rose and Ann like to play basketball. Rose plays better than Ann. Bill is the best singer of them five. Rose and Betty study in a middle school. Ann, Peter and Bill study in a primary school. These five children all work hard at their lessons. But Betty works hardest.

    Shanghai, on the east coast(海岸）of China, is one of the biggest cities in the country. Its population(人口)is 13 million. Shanghai is on the Huangpu River. There are many beautiful parks (像)the Yu Yuan Garden. Pudong is a (新的)part of Shanghai. With lots of tall (建筑物)like the 468-meter-high Oriental Pearl Tower. Putuoshan is a small island in the East China Sea,(在……附近)Shanghai.

    Dianshanhu Lake is in the Qingpu District, in the Western part of Shanghai. It is (更大的)than the West Lake in Hangzhou. It is also （受欢迎的）with visitors. Behind it is the old town of Zhujiajian. There is a high (大山)in this old town. There are 36 very old (桥)across the rivers here. If you walk(穿过) the city, you will find it is a very interesting place to (参观). Welcome to Shanghai.

    Most people don't like to stay at home on vacation because they will easily get(boring).They want to visit different places or do interesting. During festivals and(vacation), trains and buses are very busy. And it is very hard to buy train tickets(票).Now many people go for trips in (they) cars.

    Last May Day my family(decide) to go to the mountains by car. There were a few cars and buses in the streets, so we had to go very slowly(慢慢地). And it me about an hour to get out of the town. After some time, we came to a high mountain. It was green and beautiful. At that time, we felt a little  and we took out our food. Two hours later,, we got to the top of the mountain. We were tired, but the scenery(风景） was wonderful from the  of the mountain. We  a good time there. In the afternoon we went back home.
