Everyone has his or her own hobby. Many people like to collect things. For example, they enjoy 1 stamps, books, pictures and so on. But some young children are the fans of movie stars or singers now. They collect all the 2 about the stars. They are happy if the stars are happy and feel sad 3 the stars are unhappy.
Being fans, sometimes they spend a lot of 4 and money. When a boy becomes a fan of a player, he may collect the clothes and the balls that the player 5. And he hopes to 6 the player's autograph (签名) in a notebook or on a ball. If the player isn't friendly to him, he will be sad. When a girl becomes a fan of a singer, she may 7 the singer here and there. She will buy tickets and go to the singer's every concert. She will 8 and clap her hands for the singer. She hopes to take photos with the singer, but there are 9 of fans there and not all the fans can get the chance.
It is fun for us to have a hobby, but it's more important 10 a right hobby. Don't you think so?
Most people always like to collect things. For example, they like collecting stamps, books, pictures.… But my friend Mr King likes collecting clocks. He has five hundred clocks now.
There are clocks everywhere in his house. You can see shelves standing in every room. All the shelves are full of clocks. Though Mr King is glad to do this, his wife doesn't enjoy it at all. She has a lot of work to do every day. It's not easy for her to clean hundreds of clocks. She is also angry at the noise. Each clock keeps its own time, so she can hear clock strike(敲) almost any time during the day and the night. "There is something even worse. I am never able to know what time it is with so many clocks around."

Have you ever dreamed about a trip to the space? Seeds (种子) of some vegetables and crops are a lot luckier than you, as they have travelled to space and back.
China is among the three countries in the world that carry out agricultural research (农业研究) in space. The others are Russia and the US.
Since 1987, China has sent about 1, 000 species of seeds into space.
These include green peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers (黄瓜), carrots, lettuce and wheat. Even on China's first manned spacecraft Shenzhou—V, there were some seeds from Taiwan.
"Conditions in outer space such as radiation (辐射) and low gravity can cause big changes in the seeds," said Chinese researcher Jin Xing.
But not all seeds are better after going to space. After returning to the Earth, the best seeds are selected. These seeds produce (生产) much more and also grow faster than normal (正常的) seeds
