Hans Christian Andersen was born in Denmark in 1805. He lived with his parents in a town called Odense. They were a very poor family and they couldn't afford to send Hans Christian to school.

Doctor Green gave the students in Great Eight a class. After finishing it, Doctor Green gave time to the students to ask questions and answers about healthy eating.
David: It is said that we shouldn't eat between meals. Is that right?
Doctor Green: Eating four to five meals can help you control appetites(食欲)according to lots of studies. So we can eat between meals.
Paul: my classmates Lily always keeps having breakfast. Is it true that breakfast is necessary?
Doctor Green: Of course it is. Studies show that eating breakfast can make you energetic and help you keep eyes on what you do, and keeps good mind.
Adam: It is better to get thin when we skip meals, isn't it?
Doctor Green: In fact, skipping meal can't make you thin. Studies find that if you skip meals during the day, you will be heavier than people eating the right food four or five times a day. When you skip a meal, you may be slowing down your body's metabolism(新陈代谢)and making your
body need fewer calories(卡路里)and turn the rest calories into fat.

In Huston Middle School in Pennsylvania, US, its music class is very different from yours. The class is in a traditional classroom. But it is a multimedia( 多 媒 体 的 )music class with many high-tech machines or tools.
In the multimedia class, students first learn how to use these tools. Later, they learn to record and compose(作曲)music, make videos, edit photos and use online media. All students must use their skills to make a recording and post it online as their final project.
Music teacher Brian Querry started the multimedia music class this past school year. "I know something about technology(科技), and I also know music," Querry said. "I asked myself: Why not put them together? I thought it would make the class more interesting, and students would learn more from it."
It turns out that Querry was right. The class was well-received. Students in the class all like it very much. Catelynn Seinera, 14, said that she enjoys using all the different kinds of high-tech tools. "It's great to have such a class in our school," Seinera said. "Knowing how to make videos is also very useful to me in other classes."

Nothing is more important than health and happiness. But how can we live a healthy and happy life? Here are some ways for you.
Eat a lot of fruit and vegetables. They supply rich and the necessary vitamins for us. We also should eat less meat and junk food every day.
Swimming, running, skating, skiing, dancing, walking and some other activities can help you keep healthy. You should exercise at least three times a week and for twenty minutes or more each time.
It is best to get about eight hours of sleep a day. It is bad for our health if we don't have enough sleep. You can get sick from not getting enough sleep.
It stops you from having bad habits. To keep yourself busy, you can walk around the house, spend with your pet, watering flowers, cleaning the windows and so on. Do anything you enjoy.
Spend time and have fun with them. Talk with them, but don't talk about anything bad.
You should stay with the people who are healthy and happy.
