Last summer holiday, I went to Xi'an with my family. We took part in a summer camp. We went to Xi'an with1Americans who were in the summer camp too. So I not only enjoyed my trip, but also2five new friends.
3the first day of the trip, we visited the Terracotta Warriors (秦始皇兵马俑). They are one of the world's eight wonders and a national treasure in China. It is said that it took 720,0004 to build the Terracotta Warriors. To my great 5, there were thousands of warriors. I really couldn't believe my6. They looked serious and lively, which reminded me that how great our ancestors (祖先) were. 7 introducing the historical background of the Qin Dynasty (秦朝) to my foreign friends, they all lost themselves in my story. When you think of a desert(沙漠), what do you think of? Maybe you think of the Mojave Desert in America or the Sonoran Desert in Arizona. Maybe you think of the Sahara Desert in Africa. All of these deserts are in hot weather. These deserts are near the equator(赤道)and they stay hot all year round. But not all the deserts are hot. You will also find cold deserts in Greenland, Mongolia and other parts of Asia. Coastal deserts are near the sea. They may get more rain than other deserts, but they are still very dry.

I live in a house near a river. It's an old house about 100 years old, and it's not big. There are two bedrooms upstairs but no bathroom. The bathroom is on the first floor next to the kitchen and there is a living room with an old fireplace.
There is a garden in front of the house. There are many flowers in the garden in spring(春天). I live alone (独自)with my dog, Boxer, but my friends often come to see me. I love my house, because I love the garden, the flowers in spring, and the fireplace. But I like the view(风景) from the window of my bedroom best.

"OK" says the Fisherman. Then he jumped into the water. The little Mermaid comes to meet him and they go down under the water.
The soul watches on the beach. He is all alone.
