A teacher decided to let her class play a game. The teacher told each child in the class to bring along a plastic bag with a few 1 in it. Each potato will be given a name of a person that the child 2, so the number of potatoes that a child will put in his/her plastic bag will 3 on the number of people he/she hates.
So when the day came, every child brought some potatoes with the 4 of the people he/she hated. Some had two potatoes, some three, 5 some up to five potatoes. The teacher then told the children to carry with them the potatoes in the plastic bag wherever they went (even to the toilet) for one 6.
Day after day passed by, and the children started to complain about the unpleasant 7 let out by the rotten(腐烂的) potatoes. Those having five potatoes also had to carry 8 bags. After one week, the children were 9 because the game had finally ended. The teacher asked, "How did you feel while carrying the potatoes with you for one week?" The children started complaining of the 10 that they had to go through having to carry the heavy and smelly potatoes wherever they went.
Then the teacher told them the hidden meaning behind the game. The teacher said, "This is 11 the situation when you carry your hatred for somebody inside your heart. The bad smell of hatred will dirty your 12 and you will carry it with you wherever you go. If you cannot 13the smell of rotten potatoes for just one week, can you imagine what it is like to have the unpleasant smell of hatred in your heart for your lifetime?"
14 away any hatred for anyone from your heart so that you will not carry it for a lifetime. Forgiving others is the best attitude to take! Love others even if you don't like them, and you can see a 15 world.

During my elementary (基础的) school years, I used to compare my mom with my best friend Tiffany's mom.
Tiffany's mom always gave her lots of money to buy the most fashionable clothes and favorite food. Her mom allowed her to do anything she liked. I really admired Tiffany. My mom didn't give me much pocket money and she always told me that I should behave myself. I was angry with her.
Whenever I didn't get what I wanted, I would complain to my mom, Tiffany's mom would give her that! I wish she were my mom. Every time, my mom would calmly say "Poor Tiffany". I couldn't understand her. "She shouldn't be feeling sorry for Tiffany!" I thought. "She should be feeling sorry for me."
One day, I couldn't help saying to Mom, "Poor Tiffany? Lucky Tiffany! She gets everything she wants! Why do you feel sorry for her?" I burst into tears.
My mom sat down next to me and said softly. "Yes, I do feel sorry for her. I have been teaching you a lesson that she will never be taught."
I looked up at her. "What are you talking about?"
Mom said with care, "One day she will really want something. Maybe she'll find out that she can't have it. Her mother won't always be around to give her money, and what's more, money can't buy everything."
She continued, "I have taught you useful lessons by not giving you everything you want. You'll know how to be yourself and save money, but she won't. You'll understand that you need to work hard to get the things that you want but she won't. When Tiffany is a grown woman, she'll wake up one day and she will be wishing that she had a mom like the one you've got. Life lessons are more important than modern clothes and delicious food."
It took some time, but I finally understood my mom's words. Now I am a happy and successful woman.
The market is a concept(概念). If you are growing tomatoes for sale, you are producing for the market. You might sell some to your neighbors and some to the manager of the supermarket. But in either case, you are producing for the market. If people stop buying tomatoes, you will stop producing them. If you take care of a sick person to get money, you are producing for the market. If your father is a worker or a driver or a doctor, he is producing goods or service for the market.
When you spend your income(收入), you are buying things from the market. You may spend money in shops, supermarkets, gas stations and restaurants. Still you are buying from the market. When the boss hires you to drive a truck, he is buying your labor in the market. The market may seem to be something abstract(抽象). However, it is very concrete to each person who is making and selling something. It is telling if nobody buys your tomatoes, it won't be long before you get the information. It's telling you that you are using energies and resources in doing something the market doesn't want you to do.
What should we do if one of our classmates suddenly falls ill or gets hurt? Here are some steps you should follow. But always remember to look for medical care after first aid(急救)if the wound is serious.
Broken bones(骨头):Take away clothing from the wound. Use an ice pack. Don't move the hurt body part while waiting for the doctor to arrive.
Animal bites(咬伤):Wash the bite area with soap and water. Pack the wound with a clean cloth if it is bleeding. If the bleeding has stopped, cover the area with a bandage and take the person to the hospital. Make sure you remember what kind of animal it is so the doctor can find the right way to treat him or her at once.
Fainting(昏厥):Have him or her lie with feet lifted a little. Don't move the body if you think there might be wounds from the fall. Make sure he or she can breathe and let in fresh air. Clean the person's face with a cool cloth.
Nosebleeds:Have the person sit up with his or her head tilted(倾斜)forward a little. Do not have the person tilt his or her head back because this may cause heavy breathing or coughing. Pinch(捏) the lower part of the nose for at least 10 minutes.

More and more people are traveling to China. Many first-time visitors to China often ask us for the best way to plan trips to China. This article will attempt (尝试) to give you advice on how to plan a trip to China.
● Plan your time well
The best time to travel to China is between May and November because the winter months between December and March can be very cold, especially towards Northern and Western China.
Avoid (避免) planning any kind of travel on the three golden weeks in China:
①Two weeks during Chinese New Year (late January or early February each year).
②The first week of May (May Day holidays).
③The first week of October (the National Day holidays).
Most hotels, restaurants and sights can be crowded on these weeks.
● Plan your interests
Ask yourself what you would like to see in China. Try to travel on a theme to make your trip more interesting.
If you are interested in modern China, and want to see how modern this country has been, plan visits to places like Shanghai, Shenzhen, Xiamen, Hong Kong and Macao. There are also famous modern restaurants, buildings and shopping centers for tourists to experience.
If you are interested in the history and culture of China, plan visits to Beijing, Xi'an and Nanjing.
● Plan your way of travel
If you have time, plan a slow trip through China using local transport (buses/trains) and understand the true sight, sound and smell of China. Live with the Chinese, eat with the Chinese and even have parties with the Chinese.
