Mr. Peabody & Sherman (《天才眼镜狗》) is a new cartoon. It is about an adventure (奇遇) t history. Peabody is a businessman, a scientist, and he is also a dog. He decides to have one more title (头衔) and become a f. But after he has a little boy named Sherman, Peabody finds that being a father may be the most d job.
Penny is Sherman's classmate. On the first day of school, Penny and Sherman get into a fight. In order to s their problem and get on well with Penny, Sherman lets Penny have a look at the timetraveling machine. His father, Peabody m this machine. However, the trouble begins when the kids take it for a joy ride. It causes lots of p in some of history's most important moments. After this travel, Penny realizes a lot of things a herself. And we can see that she has a kind heart and that she r cares about people.
There's a lot of time travel and a lot of funny things like Peabody g into one of Da Vinci's (达·芬奇) paintings— that is really funny. It's a great cartoon for both adults and c. I think people will learn a lot about history by watching this cartoon. It's really a wonderful film.
Sarah was an American girl. She was studying abroad in England. One day, she heard a song full of feelings about (返回)home on the radio. It made her think about her family and friends back in the US. Since then, she has been a fan of American (乡村)music. Country is a (传统的)kind of music from the (南方的)states of America. Tennesses is the (故乡)of country music. Do you know what the world's tallest animals are? How do they sleep and drink? You may think they have (困难)while sleeping but actually giraffes don't often stop to (休息). As they are so tall that they can grow up to 18 feet and need the shortest sleep of all mammals, with an average of half an hour a day. When they fall (睡着), they hardly lie down and sleep for minutes at a time, because it's hard for them to get up again from the (地面)and it's dangerous in the wild. But the giraffe in the zoo sleeps around 4-6 hours a day, (主要地)at night. Drinking water is also hard for the giraffe because of the long (脖子). To drink, they must spread the legs in an uncomfortable way and if so they will be easily caught by other animals. So, they get most of water from plants to (保护)themselves.
William is my classmate. I am (感到骄傲的) of him because he is the best student in our class. He is good at all kinds of sports, and he is helpful and (英俊的). But he never shared his lunch with (其他人).
Most students in our class like to bring lunch from home to school because we can ask our parents to (装满) our lunch boxes with our favorite food. All of us think it is (更干净) and good for our (健康). We always share food at lunch time. Some share their fried chicken and I share my fish.
One day, I (发现) out why William was always alone and had lunch in (无声;寂静). His lunch box almost carries the same food everyday—some vegetables, fried eggs and a piece of ham. He told me his mother died two years ago. And (自……以来) then, his father has prepared lunch for him in person, although he is not good at (做饭). From then on, I have shared my lunch box with him, and we are very good friends now.

Last Sunday, Bob had a (特别的)experience because he met an (事故). On that day, all his classmates went hiking (除了)him, because he missed his grandmother very much. She was very old and lived (单独地)far away from the town. On the way there, (当……的时候)he was walking, a car came fast and hit an old man down. However, the driver didn't stop to help the poor old man. Dear Grandma,
How's it going? I (希望)that Grandpa is well now. I was (难过的)to hear that he had a cold last week. I hope you are in good (健康). Things are fine here. I finished my end-of-year (考试)last week and got my report (单子,卡)today. I always get (紧张的)when I see the envelope from school in the mail, but luckily I did OK this time. I had a really hard time with science this semester, and I wasn't (惊讶的)to find that my worst report was from my science teacher. She said I was lazy, which isn't true. It's just that I find science really difficult. Another (令人失望的)result was in history. My history teacher said I could do better. The good news is that my math teacher said I was (努力的). And my Spanish teacher said my listening was good.
Well, that's about all the news I have now. Mom and Dad (送)their love.
Love,
Alan
Some say that madness and genius(天才)often come hand in hand. This is (特别)true of Dutch painter Vincent Van Gogh(梵高).
Van Gogh is famous for his (令人惊讶的)use of color and shape. (出生)in 1853, he was painting at a time when art was changing and his (决定)were changing. A long time ago, artists made a living by making their paintings look like real photos. But later on, art became more about the artists' own ideas. If you see a Van Gogh's painting, it won't look like the real world. It will look even more beautiful at (至少).
Some of Van Gogh's most famous paintings are of (自然界的)scenes and flowers, such as Sunflowers. Although he had such gifts, he was a troubled man. At one point, he cut off his ear without thinking (别人).
Van Gogh is now one of the world's most famous artists. Some rich people have (已经)collected his paintings. But he died at the age of 37, (单独的)and poor. Almost nobody knew or cared about or even (复制)his art at that time. He was such a genius, but he had a hard life. Some say that his madness was the price he paid for his art.
