The wind and the sun are arguing(争吵) about who is stronger. They see a man walking down the road. "I'm stronger! Because I can make the man take off his jacket." Says the wind. "Oh. Really? Please show me." Says the sun. Then he goes behind a cloud. The wind starts blowing as hard as he can over the man. The harder the wind blows, the tighter(更紧地)the man holds his jacket. The wind gives up. Then, the sun begins to shine over the man. Soon, the man feels too hot to keep walking. Finally, he takes off his coat and it is up on the tree!

From January to now, there are a lot of super doctors. They fight against COVID-19, a very dangerous disease. They save many people from dying. Zhong Nanshan is one of these heroes. Doctor Zhong is 84 this year. He is old but he is still strong and healthy. He has good habits. He likes playing sports a lot. He usually plays basketball after work. And he likes reading very much. He keeps learning new things. In 2020, his team are always trying to find some new ways to cure the disease. Many sick people are thankful to them.
Doctors are very important to us. It's not easy to become a doctor. We need to have good habits and a strong body. Let's learn from Doctor Zhong and do our best.
When there is a fire, we call 119. 119 are three important numbers to us. November 9th is Chinese Fire Prevention(防止)Day. November is in autumn. The weather is dry and windy. It's very easy to start a fire. That's why we have Chinese Fire Prevention Day on that day. Also it's easy for people to remember because we have 119 as fire emergency number(火警电话).
In 2019, there are more than 42 big fire accidents(火灾) in our country. More than 1335 people die in the fire. Some fire accidents are caused(引起) by children at home. They play with matches and start a fire. Some fire accidents are in the restaurants. The cooks are not careful with gas(煤气) and cause a fire. Some fire accidents are in the forests. Farmers burn their crops and do not stop the fire. The fire burn all the trees and plants. The air gets full of smoke. The water becomes black. People get sick and die.
Fire is important and dangerous. Remember Chinese Fire Prevention Day and call 119 when you see a fire. Always be careful with fires and keep yourself safe.
