Because of the outbreak (疫情), many people look for fun online. Watching livestreaming (直播的) shows has become part of their lives. At the same time, traditional culture has found a bigger stage (舞台) online, Many traditional artists are starting to livestream, like Douyin and Bilibili Some of them sing Pekin Opera, some show their folk handicrafts(民间手工艺), while others perform Chinese classical music. A growing number of young people are starting to become more interested in traditional culture because of livestreaming.
Li Jun is a Peking Opera performer with the Shanghai Jingju Theater Company After the outbreak, the 59-year-old took up his smartphone and started livestreaming Unlike performing on a formal stage, Li uses ordinary places as his stage, including his backyard and study room. Apart from singing, Li also teaches viewers(观看者)about Peking Opera. People can ask him questions and get answers directly.
"Livestreaming has brought this elegant(高雅的)art down to earth. "one viewer said. "It gives young people an easier access to this traditional art and learn more about it. "Li has more than 6000 fans on Douyin, while one of his videos got 42,000 views on Bilibili.
On March 26h, 2020,Bilibili livestreamed a huafu show on the third China HuafuDay(中国华服日). Performers presented clothes in traditional Chinese styles, including those from Wei, Tang and Ming dynasties(朝代). During the show, viewers not only enjoyed looking at the clothes, but also watched how performers used ancient styles of make-up(古代化妆术).
As Guangming Daily noted, livestreaming has come to a new stage through which traditional culture can be kept alive.
Pigs do it. Mice do it. Dogs also do it. Kangaroos? No, not so much. Why do some animals shake (抖动)? The short answer is because they are wet. But there's actually more to it than that-a lot more.
In an article, Andrew Dickerson and others took a look at this strange problem. The scientists wrote down the shaking of 33 animals, of them are five kinds of dogs.
It shows that mammals(哺乳动物)can keep stronger by doing their cute little shakes If they do not shake, animals would have to use up to 20% of their daily energy simply for staying dry. And nearly all furry(毛皮的) mammals shake to help themselves keep dry.
Those animals that are similar to kangaroos shake only part of their body. They usually live in dry places where keeping dry isn't very hard. But not all animals shake in the same way. Also some shake less often than others. Smaller animals seem to shake more quickly, 30 shakes per second for a mouse, while bears, tigers and big dogs only about four.
In an interesting finding, Dickerson and his team have shown that these animals do the job as well as possible. In each example, the animals shake off about 70% of water in a few seconds. This should all be great to people. It takes us not seconds but minutes to dry our hair.
In 1901, Karl Landsteiner, an Austrian doctor, found that there are four kinds of blood. These four blood types(血型) were named A, B, AB and O. People have one of these four types. Blood type O is the most common around the world. Blood type A is the second most common, and type AB is the least common. If people with type A blood are given type B blood, or people with type B blood are given type A blood, they will probably die.
In 1927, a Japanese doctor, Furukawa Takeji, carried out research and came up with the idea that people with different blood types also had different personalities (性格). He said that people with type A blood are usually calm and serious; people with type B blood are cheerful and outgoing; people with type O blood are generous(慷慨的) and honest; while those with type AB blood are often caring and careful
More recently, a doctor named Dr. Peter D'Adamo in the United States wrote a book that links(关联)blood types and what people eat. For example, his book Eat Right For Your Type suggests people with type O blood should eat more meat and less bread. A diet for people with type A blood inc ludes more vegetables. His book has been a hint(暗示)with people who want to lose weight. However, Dr. Peter D'Adamo believes that eating food that matches a person's blood type can do more than help them lose weight. He thinks it will make the person healthier in other ways, too.

No matter who you are and where you live, the most important thing is what kind of person you are. There are many good qualities that can benefit(有益于)you a lot in your life. Among them, the following qualities are the most helpful ones.
Life is not always a bed of roses. When facing difficulties, don't lose heart. Do you know what can help you overcome difficulties? It's your attitude(态度). Cheer up! Life is like a mirror. When you smile in front of it, it will also smile at you.
Maybe you are used to your present life. Every day you have so much work to do that you can't find any time to learn. However, the world around you is changing all the time. Never be satisfied with yourself, or you will fall behind others.
In the modern world, the students who have creative thinking are needed most. Being creative means coming up with new ideas and having creative imagination. Those who are creative have more choices in their life.
Learn to be honesty (诚实). Nobody likes a person who tells lies. A liar is always looked down upon and regarded as a black sheep by the people around. The one who keeps his word is popular everywhere.
Being friendly and helpful to the people around you. Do something nice for them. When they are in trouble, don't forget to give them a hand in time. It will make you feel good about yourself.
As long as you have these qualities above, you will be excellent and make a difference to the world.
If the dream is big enough
A school was across from my home and I often saw a girl student playing basketball. She practiced over and over again, sometimes_1_ it got dark. One day I asked her why she practiced so2. She said, "I like basketball I want to play for a top basketball team. I want to be the best. My3told me if the dream is big enough, the facts don't count. "
One day, I saw the girl sitting in the grass, looking4. I went over there and sat down beside her. Quietly I5her what was wrong. "Oh, nothing, "she answered softly. "I'm6too short. "In fact, the coach(教练)told her that she was too short to play for a top team,7she should stop dreaming about it. I asked her if she had8to her dad about it yet. She told me that her father said the coach was9. He just did not understand the10of a dream. Her dad told her that if she really wanted to play11a top basketball team, if she truly wanted to be the best,12could stop her. He told her again, "If the dream is big enough, the facts don't count."
