    My son Joey was born with club feet. The doctors said that with treatment he would be able to walk, but would never run very well. The first three years of his life was1in hospital. By the time he was eight, you wouldn't know he has a problem when you saw him2.

    The label（标签）, Made in China, is one that is becoming increasing common in shopping centers all over the world.

    In the United States, shoppers at Wal-Mart, the nation's largest retailer（零售商）, have a wide selection of products mostly produced in China. The large amount of Chinese imports have created a large selection of goods in other countries as people begin to buy more and more products made in China. These goods are even widely available in other Asian nations, where Chinese-made goods are quite popular. Chinese brand names are also becoming more well-known outside China.  

    When Chinese Americans visit family and friends in their homeland, gifts from the U.S. are a must. But TVs and fashionable clothes aren't rare any more, and anything 'Made in China' shouldn't be considered in any case.

"When I decide to visit my family members in China, I will have a big headache. What should I buy for them? They may not all speak English, but everyone in China knows those three words," a Chinese American said. "When they see the label 'Made in China,' they will think, 'Why do you send me this?' "

    The development of China has surprised the world with its growth. As a result, the other countries are beginning to try to reduce Chinese goods with the use of taxes（税）and import restrictions(限制). However, the development on the Chinese economy still affects the world in many ways.

Several months after I was badly hurt in a car accident, my father sent me to a blind school.

    That morning was the new beginning. I went to this school and I heard lots of children. My new teacher took me to the class where we were taught to write and type in Braille（盲文）. I found it quite difficult.

    "Dear, how is school going?" asked my father.

    "Daddy, I can't do this. I try and try but I just don't get it. I don't know if I am ever going to learn to read Braille. It/s too difficult," I cried.

    Daddy just held me in his arm and said. "Do you remember that we went to the temple which is on the top of a mountain? When we were climbing the mountain, my legs started aching. I sat down and said "I can't see the temple. You can't see it because it is covered with fog. Although you can't see it. I know it is there. I will make sure you will climb up to it."

     "That day you showed me that just you can't see something does not mean it is not there. So although climbing the mountain was difficult, I knew I would get to the top."

    I was clear what my dad wanted me to understand.

    I went back to school and started with new energy. Very soon I could red.

    One of my classmates said, "You are lucky, you know, you have at least seen the world. I have just heard it. I have been told there are many colors in this world but I don't understand what color means."

    After listening to her for the first time in two years, I felt lucky. And on that day I learnt that although the light in my eyes is gone, I must see the world with the light in my heart.

    As teenagers, you have many dreams. These dreams can be very big, like winning the Nobel Prize, or they can be small. You may just want to become one of the ten best students in your class.

    Once (一旦) you find a dream, what do you do with it? Do you ever try to make your dream real? "Follow Your Heart" by Australian writer Andrew Mathews tells us that making our dreams real is life's biggest challenge.
    You may think you're not very good at some school subjects, or that it is impossible for you to become a writer. These kinds of thoughts (想法) stop you from getting your dream, the book says.

    In fact, everyone can make his dream come true (实现). The first thing you must do is to remember what your dream is.

    Don't let it leave your heart. Keep telling yourself what you want. Do this step by step (一步一步地) and your dream will come true faster because a big dream is, in fact, many small dreams. You must also never give up (放弃) your dream.

    There will be difficulties on the road to your dreams. But the biggest difficulty comes from yourself. You need to decide what is the most important. Studying instead of(代替) watching TV will bring you better exam results, while saving five yuan instead of buying an ice cream means you can buy a new book. As you get closer to your dream, it may change a little. This is good as you have the chance (机会)to learn more skills (技能) and find new interests.

    Maybe you are an average student. You probably think you will never be a top student. This is not necessary so, however. Anyone can become a better student if he or she wants to. Here's how:

When you plan your week, you should make a list of things that you have to do. After making this list, you should make a schedule of your time. First your time for eating, sleeping, dressing, etc. then decide a good, regular time for studying. Don't forget to set aside enough time for entertainment. A weekly schedule may not solve all your problems, but it will force you to realize what is happening to your time.

      Look around the house for a good study area. Keep this space, which may be a desk or simply a corner of your room, free of everything but study materials. No games, radios, or television! When you sit down to study, concentrate on the subject.

     Take advantage of class time to listen to everything the teachers say. Really listening in class means less work later. Taking notes will help you remember what the teacher says.

     When you get home from school, go over your notes. Review the important points that your teacher mentioned in class. If you know what your teacher is going to discuss the next day, read that material will become more meaningful, and you will remember it longer.

     The purpose of a test is to show what you have learned about a subject. They help you remember your new knowledge. The world won't end if you don't pass a test, so don't be overly worried.

    There are other methods that might help you with your studying. You will probably discover many others after you have tried these.

    The Chinese women's volleyball team won the gold medal with a (几乎) perfect 11-0 record at 2019 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Cup on Sept 29, which is the best gift for the 70th birthday of our motherland from those (英雄).

    The World Cup was played in several different cities in Japan and the team did not have much time to train. The girls had to (花费) their personal time in training when they could. These talented ladies always put in hard work and could  (支持) one another to win on the biggest stage. They brought this fighting  (精神) to the court and were brave enough to dare to struggle.     Ma Huijuan, a 38-year-old farmer from Ningxia, kept writing for many years. And now she is a famous (write).

    When Ma was 16 years old, she had to stop studying at school. But it didn't end her love for reading. She often borrowed books  her classmates. Ma has been writing articles online  she bought a mobile phone in 2008. She writes for a long time on free days.

    In her articles, she mainly (describe) her daily work in a simple but humorous way. And some are about her family, her childhood, the  (village) and the beautiful scenery in Ningxia.
