It's September, and we are back1school. It's good 2all my teachers and friends again. They all look3. We're 4 Grade One this year. We 5 many subjects(学科), such as Chinese, English, and so on. I'm not very good 6 maths. I'm going to work hard 7it. Wei Fang says she's going to 8me. I think I can do9than before. I like English very much. I'm going to do more 10 this year.
Rose and Mary are sisters. They are Americans. They and their mother are in Beijing. Rose and Mary are middle school students. Their mother works in an office(办公室). Their father is not in China. He is in Sydney.
On Sundays, Rose and Mary don't go to school, so they get up late. They get up at eight and have breakfast at half past eight. After breakfast, they read all kinds of(各种各样的) books and do their homework. Their mother is at work on Sunday. So at about a quarter to twelve, they cook (煮) lunch. They have a break after lunch. In the afternoon, they play games with their Chinese friends. They have supper with their mother at about seven. They go to bed at about ten o'clock.
I'm very hungry and come to a big tree. I look up and find it a strange(奇怪的) tree. I can't see any fruit on it, but some other food: cakes, potato chips, hamburgers, eggs and meat.
"What would you like, my boy?" An old voice (声音) comes.
"I want some potato chips, some pieces of cake, some meat and eggs." I quickly(迅速) answer. "OK. Here you are. "
I eat and eat. Then I ask, "Who are you, grandpa?" "My name is Tree."
"Thanks for your nice food, Grandpa Tree."
"It's a pleasure. What else would you like, my boy? "He asks again.
"Oh, I'm full now. But I am thirsty. Could you give me something to drink?" l say," I want a bottle of coke, a bag of milk, some orange juice or some Chinese tea."
"Sorry, I have not any drink."
"How thirsty I am (我好口渴呀)! Where are you? Grandpa Tree, I can't see you!" I shout (大叫). But there's no voice any longer.
A moment later, I hear mum say, "Get up! Get up! It's too late. It's time to go to school!" l open my eyes, and find it was a dream (原来是个梦)!
Kamala is a little girl. She lives in a s village in the mountains (山) of Nepal. There are only 980 people living in I . Kamala has a big family. She m look after her father and sisters and the cows, even though (尽管) she is only n years old.
