A dog has spent six days waiting outside a hospital in northern Turkey. Her owner was 1 and was receiving treatment there.
Cemal Senturk was taken to a hospital in the city of Trabzon, Turkey, on January 14 with a brain 2. His pet, Boncuk, followed the ambulance(救护车) there. She then made 3 visits to the hospital.
Senturk's daughter, Aynur Egeli, said she would take Boncuk home but the dog would run away many times and 4 to the hospital by herself.
"She comes every day around 9 a.m.," a security guard (保安) at the hospital said. "The dog waits there 5 it gets dark. While she doesn't enter the hospital, she does look in when the door opens."
Senturk got Boncuk nine years ago, and he is very 6 to her. "She's very used to being with me. And I miss her..."
Senturk could see the dog from the window in his hospital room. And sometimes he called out her 7. His daughter, Egeli, said that when her father called out the dog's name, Boncuk looked around and started to cry.

One day, a Swiss inventor named George de Mestral was walking in the forest. He noticed that many small plants stuck to his trousers. He wondered why they were difficult to pull off. So he collected some of them and took them home. He looked at them under a microscope(显微镜) and discovered that there were lots of small hooks(钩状物) on the plants. These hooks were sticking to the loops(环) in the material of his trousers.
The man thought that this was a good way to make things stick together, so he took his idea to visit one of his friends in France. Together they worked hard and invented a kind of "locking tape". And they called this great invention "Velcro".
Today Velcro is used everywhere, and it has made our lives easier and more convenient. Although many companies produce it, the word "Velcro" is a brand name, and belongs to the company started by George de Mestral. In other words, no other companies are allowed to call their products "Velcro".
George de Mestral never dreamed of how popular his product would become. His life changed forever after he invented Velcro. Thanks to Velcro, he became rich and successful.

Can't find any destinations on Earth for your next holiday? Lucky for you, a Californian company wants to make it possible to take a vacation in space by building hotel in orbit(轨道).
The Orbital Assembly Corporation plans to build Voyager Station, a space hotel that includes rooms for tourists, in 2026, and open it in 2027. It will be able to carry up to 400 people.
The space hotel will be shaped like a large wheel, with 24 space pods(舱) around the outside of the 200-meter-wide structure. Each pod is 24 meters long and 12 meters wide. The pods will be used for restaurants, bars, gyms, rooms for tourists, laboratories for research and so on.
The company says that some pods will even be private homes that people can buy.
"Eventually, going to space will just be another option(选择) people will choose for their vacation, just like going on a cruise(航行), or going to Disney World ," said Tim Alatorre, senior architect(建筑师) of the space hotel. He said that the space hotel may even include a concert hall and a movie theater.
The company says that the space hotel will have gravity that is about one-sixth as strong as Earth's. The low gravity means people can do things like jump higher, lift heavier things and enjoy sports such as basketball in a new way.

Depression(抑郁症) is a serious illness that can happen to anybody, including teenagers. People with depression not realize they are having it. It's hard to put into words how depression feels and people experience it . Some feel sad and everything makes them cry. Some often get angry and even small things make them lose their temper. Some feel helpless and hopeless. They do too many wild or things: fast driving, drinking, smoking, taking drugs, etc.
For teenagers, being depressed is common. It has to do with the normal growth. Sometimes they get very depressed because of disturbing events. Other times depression just happens. Often teenagers react to the pain of depression getting into all kinds of troubles. It's important for them to get treatment for depression before it to other more serious troubles.
It is very important for teenagers to be in mind. If you think you're depressed, with someone! Teenagers should learn to tell their problems to friends, family members or teachers.
