I'm Sally. My grandparents live in a nice neighborhood. They like to spend time there on weekends.

I often walk along Main Street to get there. There is an old building in the center of the neighborhood. It's about 150 years old and lots of people like to read books there. There is a red building across from the library. It's an old post office. Next to it, there is a supermarket.

My favorite in the neighborhood is Walking Street. like to eat all kinds of delicious snacks(小吃). There is a park behind Walking Street. My grandparents always walk around in the park every afternoon. and they can enjoy the clean air and sunshine.

 ⑵Mike: I have to take off my shoes and put on the overshoes(鞋套). The overshoes are near the door outside the room.

    In many English homes, people eat four meals a day: breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner. People have breakfast at any time from seven to nine in the morning. They eat porridge (粥), eggs or bread. English people drink tea or coffee (咖啡) at breakfast.

    Lunch comes at 13:00. Afternoon tea is from four to five in the afternoon and dinner is at about 7:30. First they have soup, and then they have meat or fish with vegetables. After that they eat some other things, like bananas, apples or oranges. But not all English people eat like that. Some of them have their dinner in the middle of the day.

    I went to Beijing with my parents last New Year's Day, and we went there by air. The weather was snowy. I like snow. We went to the Great Wall. It is so great. The next day we went to a big supermarket. We bought lots of things there. At noon we had some noodles and fruits for lunch. In the afternoon we went to the zoo. There were lots of animals. I like pandas because they are very cute. I had a great time in Beijing. How about your holiday?

Every year, there's a talent show in our school. And the theme(主题) of this year's talent show is dreams. I took part in two competitions this year: dancing and cosplay (角色扮演).

There are six boys in my team and we're good at street dance. When the music played, we all felt excited. We danced so well that all of the students and teachers cheered (喝彩) for us. Our team did a good job and won first prize. We felt happy and we learned how to work as a team. This is the most important thing we learned from the competition.

The cosplay competition was the most popular part of the talent show. Students could get dressed up as any characters they liked. Although it was our first time to take part in such a competition, we decided to try our best. When we walked on the stage(舞台), we were very nervous. Later, we made a mistake during the competition so we didn't win. But we will work harder for the next competition.

Everyone should have a dream. So if you want to do something you like, just go for it!

    We often talk about the weather. If we want to know about the weather, we can listen to the radio to know about the weather. We can watch the Weather Show on TV. And we can ask other people in two different ways, "What's the weather like today?" or "How is the weather today?"

    We can also know about the weather from the Internet （互联网）. When it's cold, we need to wear warm clothes and scarves. When it's rainy, we need raincoats or umbrellas. When it's hot, we need a cool place and want a cold drink.
