Long long ago, a rich man wanted to make a trip to another town. He decided to take things to sell and take money to buy things with. He decided to take ten servants(仆人) with him. They would carry the things to sell and the food to . on their trip. Before they started, a little ran to the rich man and asked him if he could go together.
The rich man said to the little boy," Well, can go with us, you are the smallest, the thinnest and the weakest of all, you can't carry a heave box. You must the lightest one to carry." The boy thanked his master(主人)and chose the biggest box to carry. That was bread.
"You are ," said the rich man." That is the biggest one." The boy didn't say and carry the box happily.
On the trip they walked for days, and at last they to the town. All the servants were but the little boy was very relaxed. Do you know ? Most of the bread was eaten during the trip and a little was left when they arrived in the town.
I am a volunteer teacher. Once I traveled a long way to a small village school in Guingxi. On my way there, I imagined the village, the school, and the children there. However, my heart sank when I arrived there. It wasn't what I expected. It didn't look like a school at all! The school had only three rooms, one for Grades 1, 2, and 3, and another for Grades 4, 5 and 6.There was a third once for me.
On my first day, the children welcomed me warmly. They asked me a lot of questions, and Itold them stories about myself and my life in Shanghai. The next day. I gave them a test. To my surprise, though the test was very easy, over half of the students failed it. I knew they needed me.
I was busy preparing lessons and reading test papers every night. I enjoyed teaching these lovely and hard-working children and I could see that they were making progress with my help. I have also learned a lot from them. I understand their lives better, and we are now good friends.
I have worked in the village for a year now I'm very happy and the experience has been very useful to me. I love the small village and the children. In fact, I will continue working there.
Many students feel nervous before an exam. They are afraid of failing the exam. They can't eat or sleep well. Sometimes they become ill. Here are some tips for you to do well in an exam.
You probably want to review(复习) everything before an exam, but you need some rest, too. So it's important to make some plans for your study. When you go over your lessons, you should spend more time on your weak subjects.
There is no need to drink ten cups of coffee or energy drinks to study more efficiently (高效地) before an exam. That will make you more nervous and might stop you from getting to sleep. You should eat some healthy food, like fruit and vegetables. Drinking enough water is good for your body.
If you can't fall asleep, get up and go to another room. But don't turn on the TV or play with your phone. Listen to some quiet music or read a book. You'll probably feel sleepy in a few minutes, and then you can go back to your bed.
Think about what you need for the exam. Do you need a ruler? A pen? Paper? Make a list and cross of(划掉) each item once it's put in the bag. Don't forget to silence your phone. You don't want it to ring in the middle of the exam.

Mrs. Beet, a 38-year-old woman, drives very fast to work every day.
On her way back from work yesterday afternoon, she was driving laster than usual because she was worried about her little son. He was alone at home. While she was trying to pass a truck before her, she saw another car coming. She quickly turned her steeling wheel (方问盘). Her car didn't hit the other car, but she could not stop her own car. It ran into the river.
Luckily, Mr. Jackson, a very good swimmer, saw what was happening. He jumped into the water at once. He swam over to the car. He got to Mrs. Beet through an open window. He pulled(拉) her out of the window and then out of the water. Back on land, he gave Mrs. Beet mouth-to-mouth breathing. Soon the lady came to herself.

No trip to Shanghai is complete without a visit to Shanghai Disneyland Park. If you plan it right, it can be the "Happiest. Place on Earth". Here are some easy tips for you to follow.
Public transport. In Shanghai, there is a good bus and underground service. The best way to get to the theme park is by underground, which is much quicker and cheaper.
What to wear. In summer, the strong sunlight is bad for you, so a hat is necessary. And you're going to do a lot of walking. so you'd better wear comfortable shoes.
Make a plan. It is really impossible to do everything in one day in the park. So you need to plat a route (路线) through the park and choose a few must-dos in the park.
Make good use of FASTPASS. Get to the park early in the morning, and go on the popular rides first to avoid (避免) lines later in the day. However, your best choice for popular rides is the free FASTPASS. It can save you from waiting in long lines.
Go shopping. Don't wait to do your shopping until the end of the day, that's when everyone does it and the lines are long.
Things to-remember. Selfie sticks(自拍杆) are not allowed to use; only well-packaged food and water are allowed; visitors above 16 should not be dressed in cartoon costumes

Every year, there's a talent show in our school. And the theme(主题) of this year's talent show is dreams. I took part in two competitions this year: dancing and cosplay (角色扮演).
There are six boys in my team and we're good at street dance. When the music played, we all felt excited. We danced so well that all of the students and teachers cheered (喝彩) for us. Our team did a good job and won first prize. We felt happy and we learned how to work as a team. This is the most important thing we learned from the competition.
The cosplay competition was the most popular part of the talent show. Students could get dressed up as any characters they liked. Although it was our first time to take part in such a competition, we decided to try our best. When we walked on the stage(舞台), we were very nervous. Later, we made a mistake during the competition so we didn't win. But we will work harder for the next competition.
Everyone should have a dream. So if you want to do something you like, just go for it!
