People throw（扔） zongzi into the river to feed the fish, so the fish will not eat Qu's body. After that, every year on this day, people eat zongzi to remember him. But people in different places eat different kinds of zongzi. People in southern China like eating meat zongzi. In the north, people often eat sweet zongzi.
