Once upon a time, a pencil and an eraser were having a conversation about their jobs. Both of them were 1 each other for their hard work. Both of them knew that they were 2 without each other.
Soon, the pencil started to draw a straight line and the eraser was looking at it. 3, the pencil lost its balance and the line was ruined (毁坏). Then the pencil got very sad. It knew the eraser would have to 4 because of its mistake so it said 5 to the eraser. The eraser felt 6 and asked, "For what, my dear friend?"
"I'm sorry that you get hurt because of 7. Whenever I make a mistake, you're 8 there to erase it. And you lose a part of yourself and get 9 each time," cried the pencil.
On hearing this, the eraser said, "That is true 10 I really don't mind. You see, I was made to help you. So stop 11, please! I am happy with my job, even though I know I will be gone one day. If I see your 12, I will not be happy."
Our 13 are just like the eraser, and we're like the pencil. They're always there for us,
14 our mistakes. Sometimes they get hurt when they raise us and with time they become older. But they're always 15 what they do and will always prevent us from being worried or sad.

There are fewer kids wanting to join in the traditional sports these years. Many kids want different ways to exercise. They don't always want to play baseball or football in teams. Some say they are too competitive and others think they can get hurt easily.
"Nontraditional sports let kids be true kids" Tom Cove, the President of the Sports& Fitness Industry Association (SFIA), said. Nontraditional sports usually have kids competing on their own. Rock climbing is one of them.
Olivia Hunt is 16 years old. She lives in Burlington, Vermont. She used to like soccer. But when her teammates talked about how to get first place in the game, she began to dislike it. "It isn't fun, I can just go and do it, "said Olivia. She also joined Little Bella's mountain bike camp. She says both sports help her see how she is growing.
"Sports like climbing, cycling and running make children focus on making one move at a time, said Dr. Michelle Flowers "These sports are more about 'personal growth'. " Kids can learn to keep trying and they can use the lessons they learn in other parts of life.
Here's another reason why more kids like to do nontraditional sports. Nontraditional sports can offer the good things that traditional sports offer. Some people might think kids may feel lonely while doing nontraditional sports. However, Olivia doesn't think so. She says she always talks to others at the climbing gym and that they always help each other.
The 55-km-long Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) opened to traffic at 9:00 a. m. on 24th October 2018. It is the longest cross-sea bridge in the world. The bridge connects Hong Kong, Zhuhai and Macao. The guardian has described it as one of the" seven wonders of the modern world".
The construction (建造) of the HZMB began in 2009 and cost about 120 billion yuan, CGTN reported. The HZMB is special in many ways. It is designed with a service life of up to 120 years
And it isn't just a bridge, but also part tunnel and part island. In one part, the bridge turns into a 6. 7km undersea tunnel (隧道), allowing large ships to pass by above the tunnel.
The bridge's designers and engineers had to consider many environmental factors in order to protect the surrounding environment while building the bridge. For example, Chinese white dolphins, endangered animals that live in the area, by building large and modern natural reserves, the engineers achieved the goal of Chinese white dolphins zero casualty (零伤亡).
Why do Chinese people have to build the bridge at such a high cost? The HZMB will make it much faster to travel between the three areas it connects. It will shorten the travel time from Hong Kong to Zhuhai from four hours to about 45 minutes. By drawing these areas together, the bridge will help with the area's development in many ways. It is expected to drive the economic (经济的) development of Hong Kong, South China Morning Post noted.

The next morning they decided to bring some cookies to their new neighbor and introduce themselves. The lady came to the door and said her name was Emily Harris. She invited them into the house. Betsy and her mom introduced themselves and stayed only for a short time. "We don't want to hold you up, "said Betsy's mom, let us know. ""Thanks so much." said Miss Harris.
