Welcome, new students, to Maple Knoll High School Library! Here is an introduction of our school library. The on the left of the map helps you best understand it.
The computer lab is just on the of the main entrance. You can enter computers by putting into the of your student ID card. There are 4 copy machines in the library. The circulation desk on the left of the main entrance is a place to borrow and return books from general stacks. The reading area is in the middle of the library. A water fountain is between the and the cellphone area. They're all on the right.
If you want to ask for more help, you can go to the librarian's office.
TheB&.O Railroad Museum is in Baltimore. Its site is1tobe the birthplace of the American railroad. The museum2themost complete railroad collections in3. Onthe second floor, there is an4ofstation clocks, and a small movie theatre. The museum also has an5collection of engines, cars, cranes and6railroadequipment.
7the winter of 2002-2003, heavy8destroyed the roof of the museum anddamaged more than half of the9, which may have been the museum's10loss.But there was still some11the insurance(保险)on the museum, though it wasn't clear at first12itwould get from that.
Themuseum was very13. In the end, although it had14millionsof dollars, all of it was replaced by the insurance. The museum had been15untilNovember 2004. Its manager says, "The insurance saved our museum!"
Boston Children's Museum is the second oldest children's museum in the United States. It has been teaching children with a huge collection of objects (实物) since 1913. Here's a list of some interesting exhibits in the museum.
