*Cooking your favorite meals

You should learn how to cook a few of your favorite meals. First ask your parents for help to decide on the menu and ingredients(原料), and then you can go shopping, cook the meals and clean up the kitchen together.

Last week, all the teachers and students of our school watched a special performance(演出) by some disabled people. The first programmer was a dance named "The light of life". To my surprise, all the dancers had lost one of their legs. As they were performing, I could see how they had to face so many difficulties. However, they showed us many wonderful programmers. From these programmers, I could see how lively their minds were.

The two persons who came out next shocked us all. The first one was a singer. He was very young but unfortunately he had lost both of his hands in a big fire. The song he brought us was

The other one was also a young man. He lost both of his arms when he was six. From then on, his feet became his "hands". However, he could manage a number of things with his feet. What moved us most was his feet writing. The two words "Flying High"" expressed his two wishes.

"If your wings are gone, your heart can still fly. "said Zhang Haidi, a disabled writer. In the world, there are many disabled people, yet most of them don't give up. They have strong wishes and beautiful dreams. Just as Zhang Haidi said they could fly. Disability doesn't on complete failure. Once you try hard, miracles(奇迹) will happen sooner or later. I believe where there is a will, there is a way.

It's been over a year since COVID-19 first appeared and the virus continues to be a problem in many parts of the world, scientists have realized the development of vaccines(疫苗) is a solution to the pandemic(大流行性疾病). A global(全球) effort to vaccinate as many people as possible would be needed, since vaccines typically(通常) take years to develop.

I have been very busy since I became a volunteer for the Riding for the Disabled Association.

Every Saturday, I help to get the horses for the disabled riders. Many more disabled people want to ride than you'd imagine. It's a disadvantage that I don't know how to ride--I'd love to get on long rides with the rides—but I'll learn soon Right now, I'm just happy to be able to lead the horses around for the disabled riders.

I'm helping to organize a sale, which will be next month. It's a lot more work than helping the disabled. I need to collect second-hand things to sell at the sale. There are things available(获得的) than I thought, but I'm sure we'll have enough next month.

I hope the sale raises more money than last month's work. It was rainy, so too few people took part in the event. Last week, we held an auction(拍卖). The auction took much less to organize than the work , for some reason, people too little money for the things, so we didn't raise enough money.
