Hi, boys and girls! My name is Simon and I'm a 10-year-old boy from the US. My father Donnie is 35 and he is a math teacher in a middle school. He's very busy every day. His students all like him because they think his classes are interesting. But I'm not good at math. It is hard for me. So my father always helps me with math in the evening.
Today is March 9th and it's my father's birthday. I want to make dinner for him. My last class finishes at 5:30 p. m. After I get home, I get two eggs, some meat(肉), bread and vegetables, I make a nice dinner with them for my father. It's interesting to do that. My father is a little fat. Here are three astronauts (宇航员)of China, Ye Guangfu. Wang Yaping and Zhai Zhigang. Look! They are saying hello to us in their new home- the Shenzhou-13 space-ship(宇宙飞船).
Zhai Zhigang is the first Chinese man to walk in space. He is 55 years old and comes from Heilongjiang. He likes Chinese calligraphy (书法). It's fun for him.
Wang Yaping is the only woman astronaut of the three. She is 41 years old and she comes from Shandong. She likes sports and is good at running. Her husband Zhao Peng is a good astronaut, too. They have a 5-year-old daughter.
Ye Guangfu from Chengdu is the same age as Wang. He works very hard and his English is really good. He always wants to have a trip into space. Now his dream comes true(梦想实现).
In the space station(空间站), astronauts always "fly" everywhere, but they can do many things like us. They have a lot of work to do every day. To keep healthy, they need to do sports for about two hours. When they are free, they can play games and watch movies. They can talk with family and friends on the phone, too. When they want to sleep, they just need to go into their sleeping bags.
Do you know how to make friends at a new school? Here are some things you can do.
In a new school von need to tell your classmates your name, phone number and what you like first. Then they can know about you.
You can help your classmates when they need help. When they have no pens or rulers, give them yours. It is a good way for you to make friends.
It's a good time to get to know each other(彼此). You can talk about your school day or some interesting things when you are eating.
Look at the baseball club (俱乐部), the reading club or the computer club in your school. Go to the ones you like. You can meet nice friends there and play with them.
