Last month, I went to Yunnan for my summer holiday1my family. It was really enjoyable. Here I'd like to tell you about my trip.
The first morning, we got up early when we were there. We2to go sightseeing(观光) in Lugu Lake first.
We3to go boating and saw some wonderful shows. Then we started to climb up a hill. On the top of the hill, we saw beautiful and clear scenery(景色). I really enjoyed4.
The5morning we went to Lijiang by bus. We waited for a long time to go there. When we arrived there, it was almost in the evening. After a short rest, we had a picnic and enjoyed the old streets under the moon.
We went to Kunming, the "spring city", on the third day. We visited Dianchi, watched the birds and went to the flower market. The flowers were so beautiful and the birds sang6. This trip was full of fun.7we were a little tired, we had a8day.
The four-day trip was over soon. We had to go home. I think Yunnan is9place in China. I will never forget the days I spent in Yunnan and I hope10it again.
Sandy and Candy lived with their mom. They are twin sisters. Their neighbor Mrs. Green lived upstairs(楼上). They often spent time with her.
One day in summer, Mrs. Green said her leg hurt a lot and couldn't walk to the store. So she asked Sandy and Candy to buy1. They agreed2. Mrs. Green gave them money and a list of the food she needed. "She is a nice lady.3I was little, she often helped us. Our mom always thanked her for her help. Now we can do something4for her!" said Sandy.
Mom helped the kids5the food on the list. They6Mrs. Green's food with the money she had given them. Later, Sandy and Candy took bags up to Mrs. Green's home. "Thank you for what you did," she said. "You're so kind."
Two weeks7, Mrs. Green felt8. One night, Sandy and Candy were ready for a short rest after working. Then the phone rang and Mom answered the phone right away. "Mrs. Green asked us to go upstairs," said Mom.
Every child who had helped her was there. Cakes and ice-cream were on the table. "This is just like the time as I was a little9," said Mom. She smiled as she remembered her childhood(童年). "I felt happy with my helpful kids! It's Mrs. Green that helps to10the best in them."

Brighton, a famous holiday town next to the sea in Sussex, on the southeast coast of England, is only 50 minutes on a fast train from London. The town usually has about 134,000 citizens(市民), but it gets a lot of tourists all year round.
A long time ago Brighton was a quiet fishing town. Later on, when swimming in the sea became popular, many rich and important people, as well as musicians and writers began to arrive and Brighton became a popular seaside holiday town.
Prince George, the future King George IV, first visited Brighton in 1783. He liked it and used to spend part of the summer there because of his health. He asked John Nash, a very famous builder, to build him a palace. It took about 40 years to build the palace and it cost 500, 000 pounds! Now more than 400, 000 tourists visit Brighton and the palace—the Royal Pavilion—every year.
The Royal Pavilion, with its beautiful rooms and museums, is not the only interesting thing in Brighton. In May, this friendly and colourful town holds an international festival with many different kinds of music, dance and theatre.

National Day is coming. We have 7-day holiday. Yesterday was the first day of the long holiday. We didn't go out we thought there would be too much traffic on the road. We stayed in the garden in front of our house and enjoyed .
My father was fond of playing chess. Now he was chess with Uncle Li. Sometimes they talked loudly, while sometimes they lost themselves in thinking. Since it was a sunny day, my took the clothes out and washed them in the garden.
