There is a foreign teacher called Henry King in our school. He's from London, the capital of 1. He's ninety years old this year, but he is still very 2in my eyes. April 7th is World Health Day. I visit3 King, the 90-year-old and healthy man. He's happy to see me and he tells me 4 to keep healthy.

Mr King has 5 meals on time every day. He usually has breakfast at seven o'clock, lunch at twelve o'clock and dinner at seven o'clock. He likes eating

6 very much, because he thinks they are quite good for him. "If(如果) you want to be healthy, have a 7 breakfast. Don't drink 8 cola and water is the best drink." Mr King says with a smile. "10 is a good way for Mr King to be healthy and he keeps walking thirty minutes every day. I learn a lot about health from Mr King today.

A library is a very good place. Nearly every place has a library, like a city, a town, a school, even a small village. Libraries are here and there in the world.

Our school has a library. It's not big but clean and tidy. There are different kinds of books, magazines, dictionaries and CDs in it. The chairs and desks are nice and the teachers are friendly to students. All the students in our school enjoy reading in the library. There are four small reading rooms in the library. Every room has many books. Some are in Chinese, and others are in English. We can read and do our homework there. We often read with the help of our teachers because some books are too difficult for us. My classmates and I are getting ready to read now. Reading books helps us a lot.

You see, a library is always    ▲    because it can open our eyes to the outside world.

In China, there are many different kinds of food. Some of them are very popular. Dumplings are the real Chinese food. Now let's talk about them, OK?

Everyone in China likes dumplings very much, and there are many different kinds of dumplings. Some have meat and vegetables in them and others have sugar, eggs and so on. I like dumplings with vegetables and pork best.

Usually people make dumplings at home. If you have no time to make them, you can buy them in any supermarket. Then you take them home and eat them with vinegar(醋).

The Spring Festival is very important in China. When it comes, we make dumplings and usually we put a coin(硬币)in a dumpling. If someone eats the dumpling with the coin in it, he or she will be lucky in the year.

Robert Smith is my best friend. He is a 12-year-old boy. He likes sports very much and does well in sports.

One afternoon, he comes out of the classroom and sees his father waiting for him at the school gate. He is very glad and he runs to his father. "Dad, please don't wait for me after school next time. I can go home by myself. I have grown up to be a man." says Robert.

"Let's go," says the father, "I'll cook supper and you can do your homework at home. Mum is still at work."

On their way home, Robert sees some boys skating in a park. "Can I go and learn skating. Dad?" asks Robert.

 "I'm sorry, my boy. You must go home and do your homework," answers his father, "but I can buy you an ice-cream." Then his father buys an ice-cream for him. When Robert wants to eat it, a fly(苍蝇) flies to the ice-cream.

"Drive off(赶走) the fly," says his father, "it's very dirty ."

But Robert says with a smile. "You don't let me skate, but can you let him skate for a while(一会儿)?"

Are you good at writing? I'm not. I am a poor writer. I read a lot but I can't write very (好地). Every year when Thanksgiving comes, I get unhappy. Because Mom asks me to write Thanksgiving cards to my teachers, my grandparents, my uncles and my aunts. There are at least 10 cards to write. Mom keeps saying, "Please (记住) to write something from the bottom of your heart."

I can sit in front of my table for an hour without writing even one (单词). Often mom is unhappy and asks me to finish it quickly. So I get an idea. I secretly take (一些) thank-you cards from Mom's desk and copy (抄) what Mom writes. When mom comes back half an hour later, I finish all the cards. Before Mom can say anything, I (放置) the cards in the envelopes and seal(封)them. "Good job, dear!" Mom always says. Then I run to the park to play.

Hi, everyone! I'm Peter and I'm eight years old. My best friend is Hannah. She's one year older than me, but she's shorter than me. Why? Because she (not) eat healthily.

We are in  same class in school. She sits beside me  we have lunch together. Sometimes we eat food from each other's lunchbox. I help her finish her (tomato), apples, oranges and she (help) me finish my carrots. She's 56.(real) a fussy(爱挑剔的) eater.
