Years ago, my friends and I were on a vacation in UAE (the United Arab Emirates). One day, we were visiting Abu Dhabi, traveling with a few people on a bus. At our 1stop, we got off to take some pictures. At our second stop, we noticed that we had 2 one of our shoulder bags. The 3 part was that our passports, visas ( 护照、签证) and hotel booking papers were all inside it and we had to go back to India in two days.
During this process (过程) of 4 the bag, we met so many strangers(陌生人) who were really warm-hearted and 5 .
A tour guide and a bus driver helped call us a taxi so that we could travel back to find our 6 .
A taxi driver 7 us for almost three hours to help us. He took us to the hotel we had stayed in, 8 that a cleaner might have found the bag. Then he took us to the nearest police station. He said, "Nobody loses their goods in our country. Don't 9 . You will find your bag."
A visitor standing outside the park at our first stop was 10 for his friend's car and he had to be somewhere. However, he 11 to help us and spent 30—40 minutes in looking for the bag with us.
A local man, who actually 12 our bag, checked the bag and found a number to a travel agency (旅行社). He tried to get in touch with us and 13 us our bag back.
On that day, I was not able to say a proper thank you to all those strangers who 14 us in such a hurry. I don't even know their names, but I will never be able to 15 their kindness. The world needs more people like them and I've decided to try to become one of them.

Some people may open a bakery (面包店) to turn their hobby into a job. Some may open a bakery to make their childhood dream come true. Zheng Xiaoyan, a girl in Shenzhen, Guangdong, runs a bakery to help special people with hearing and speaking problems.
Zheng is a baking lover. A few years ago, she learned from a friend that people with hearing and speaking problems had difficulty looking for jobs. Then she wondered what she could do for them. One day, she read the news that a German couple (夫妇) opened a bakery in Changsha, Hunan and the workers in the bakery are mostly deaf-mute people (聋哑人). She thought it was great. Later, Zheng decided to open a bakery like theirs to help people in need.
In June 2020, her bakery opened in Shenzhen. Zheng named this bakery"Silent Bread Tree". Many people visit the bakery. They like the warm place and the friendly workers. Zheng has helped about 20 deaf-mute people. Yanyan is one of them. She is from Yunnan. She says that she's very happy to be able to make money by herself.
Now, Zheng is planning to show her bakery through Douyin, a Chinese short video app and train one of the workers to become the livestreamer (主播)."They can do the job as well as others,"she said."Hopefully, we can help make their lives better. I feel really happy to see the smile on their faces."
We seem to have a lot of arguments (争吵) in our family. Is this common? Arguments between parents and their children are inevitable in family life. It may happen at any time in every family. If your family never has arguments, it probably means that problems are being avoided (回避). To become good adults (成年人), children need to be able to tell others about their ideas clearly. Parents should make sure arguments are helpful to their children.
When a problem appears, decide if you need to argue about it. For example, you bought a new pair of sports shoes for your daughter days ago, but your daughter wants to wear an old pair of shoes to school. At this time, you don't need to argue with her. Just let her decide which pair of shoes to wear.
It's important to let your children win when they are right. When you and your children argue, you need to do more than listen to their ideas. When they give a right point, be happy to say,"You make me believe you are right. We'll do it in your way."Let your children know that you think their ideas are important and let them win. And through talking with each other, you can solve (解决) problems and arguments.
Set boundaries (界限) for arguments. If you are unhappy with the article that your children wrote about at school, you can have a discussion. But remember, it is their school work. It is up to their teachers to decide if it is good. If you are angry about this problem, then it's time for a break. Tell your children,"We need to stop, cool down and come back to it later."Then, when one of you might have a new way, it's time to discuss it.
①When a character slips (滑倒) on a banana peel, people laugh a lot. You may have seen such a scene (情景) time and time again. From early black and white movies to today's sitcoms, this scene is as old as time. What if we told you there is more to banana peels than just being used in sitcoms?
②As surprising as it may sound, banana peels can find their place next to your face wash according to Bright Side. Take the inside of the banana peel and rub (揉搓) it right on your face. Leave it there for around 10 minutes and then wash your face. Do this every day and in a week or two, you may find it is useful to reduce your scars (减少疤痕).
③You can take the banana peel and rub it on all kinds of leather (皮革), such as sofas, chairs and shoes. Just use the inside of the peel on your leather things and rub until they are shiny.
④▲ When you are cooking meat or fish, put a banana peel together with it. The peel helps keep the meat or fish wet as it cooks. It acts as a "blanket"for the meat and stops the water loss of the meat. As a result, it can make the meat more delicious.
⑤Banana peels can be eaten according to Healthline. You can put the banana peel in hot water for about 10 minutes and then add it to a juicer. Banana peels can be enjoyed on their own or put together with other fruits like strawberries and bananas, of course, to make fresh drinks.
