When one door of happiness closes, another opens. However, we often look at the 1 door so long that we can't see the one that has been opened for us. It's true that we don't know 2 we've got until we lose it, and it's also true that we don't know what we've been 3 until it goes away.
Giving someone all your 4 doesn't mean that they'll love you back. Don't expect love in return. Just 5 for it to grow in their hearts.
There are many moments in life when you miss someone so much that you want to bring them into your 6 and hug them for real! Dream what you want to dream, go where you want to go, and 7 what you want to be, 8 you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do.
Happiness lies in those who have cried, those who have been hurt, those who have searched, and those who have tried, for only they can understand the 9 of their lives. The 10 future will always be based on a forgotten past. You can't go on well in your life until you let your past failure and heartaches go.
When it comes to November 11, the young generations will consider it as the Singles' Day as well as the online shopping carnival(狂欢节).
Online shopping has been much more1especially after Jack Ma, the CEO of T mall and Tao bao, had the idea of "Double Eleven. The2of online shopping include cheaper pieces, fast searching, comparing between products, and saving time. Before the shoppers make their decisions, they can check3and recommendations about the products from other buyers. It is truly global so people can buy the best products from all over the world. Distance is no longer a 4because most sellers provide an express service(快递服务) and goods will be sent straight to the door5. You don't even need to6out of your house or go to the shops. You can stay at home with a nice cup of tea and just click your mouse to choose the article you like.
Online shopping is very7, but there's always a trap. Shoppers who buy products online are8that the products may be different from what they have expected. Online shopping has proved to be9enough. Online shoppers have to fill in their personal information and credit card information, which can be stolen and used by skillful hackers. It will increase the risk of losing money.
So we should be10enough to avoid these problems when we enjoy on line shopping.

Dear Disney,
Last weekend, my family spent an enjoyable holiday at the Magic Kingdom—Disneyland. And one event made our visit seem truly magical.
We got to the front of the line at Space Mountain, only to find out that our little daughter Gloria couldn't take her ice cream on the ride. We were so excited that we all forgot ice cream was not allowed on the ride.
Gloria began to cry and we all had no idea what to do. Then Murphy, one of your staff(员工) came over. She told Gloria that she would hold the ice cream for her and give it to her when she finished the ride. Gloria said, "Promise?" Then she gave Murphy her ice cream.
Sure enough, as we walked out the exit(出口), there was Gloria's new friend with "her" ice cream. Now you and I both know what happened, because we know that an ice cream won't last twenty minutes on a summer afternoon in Florida. Murphy knew what time we would get off the ride; she went to the nearest shop and bought a new ice cream thirty seconds before we walked out the exit. Gloria said, "Thank you," but I'm sure she thought it was the same ice cream.
We know that someone tried hard to make our visit special. Thanks so much for going above and beyond!
Your fan,
Carmen Rivera
Maybe you often have arguments with your parents about clothes, homework, friends and many other things. But what's going on when your parents fight with each other? Most teenagers feel sad or afraid when their parents fight. They might think their parents don't love each other any more and that their arguments will lead to a divorce(导致离婚).
In fact, it is normal for parents to disagree and argue sometimes. They might disagree about important things like jobs and family decisions. They might even disagree about little things that don't seem important at all—like what's for dinner. Maybe sometimes parents feel so strongly about their differences that it may lead to arguments. However, these arguments are often over quickly. Parents may say sorry and make up, and the family returns to normal.
As a family member, you should find out what it really means when your parents fight. When your parents get angry with each other, they might say things they don't really mean. Most people may lose their cool, so if your parents are fighting, don't worry too much about it. Try to find a good way to solve it.
If your parents' fighting really bothers you, you might find it hard to sleep or go to school. If this happens, try talking to your parents about their behavior. They may not even realize it until you tell them how their arguments has affected you. You can also tell other relatives, a teacher or a close friend.
Just remember that no family is perfect and arguments are common in every family.
About ten years ago, a young and very successful man named Jack was traveling down a New York neighborhood street. He was going a bit too fast in his black car, which was only two months old.
He was watching for kids running out from between the cars and slowed down when he thought he saw something. As his car passed, no children out, but a brick(砖块) flew out and—WHUMP—it broke into the shiny black side door. Josh was very angry, he jumped out of the car, caught the kid and shouted: "What have you done? That's my new car, that brick you threw will cost you a lot of money. Why did you throw it?"
"Please, sir, please. I'm sorry! I didn't know what else to do!" cried the youngest. "I threw the brick because no one else would stop!" he pointed around the cars. "It's my brother, sir." He said. "He fell down the road and fell out of his wheelchair and I can't lift him up. Would you please help me get him back into his wheelchair? He's hurt and he's too heavy for me."
Moved beyond words, Josh lifted the young man back into the wheelchair, checking to see that everything was going to be OK.
It was a long walk back to the car—a long and slow walk. Josh never did fix the side door. He kept it to remind him not to go through life so fast that someone has to throw a brick at him to get his attention. Feel for the bricks of life coming at to you.
Nate Robinson is unlike any other player in the NBA. This player is the shortest in the NBA, but he is one of the most fearless players. He is 1.75m tall. "In NBA, he looks like a fourth-grader among a group of high school students," according to The Atlantic.
How can he compete(竞争) with them? Robinson makes up for this with his ability to jump. Without moving forwards or backwards, he can jump up to 110cm. However, confidence helps him more. "People talk about my height all the time, but I don't really feel smaller than anyone else," said Robinson. "I always think I'm on fire (充满激情的)." No matter who you are or what you've won, he's going to come at you. With that spirit, he has won the NBA Slam Dunk Contest three times. Also, he has made many wonderful blocks(盖帽).
Chicago Bulls played Miami Heat on May 10, 2013. LeBron James, the 2.03-meter-tall player from Miami Heat, went to shoot. But Robinson blocked him. He also blocked Shaquille O'Neal in Cleveland Cavaliers and even Yao Ming in Houston Rockets.
Nate Robinson is a hero. He has given many basketball fans hope. Maybe one day, you can also block big guys like LeBron James!
A young woman sits alone in a coffee shop, drinking tea and reading a book. She stops for a short time to write some words on a piece of paper. Then she shows her words to a passing shop worker: "Where are the toilets please?" This is a common picture in Tokyo's so-called "silent cafes", where people are not allowed to speak, communicating instead by writing on pieces of paper. Many people in the city like the coffee shop very much. In the silent café, just remember the only rule: keep silence.
A growing number of "silent cafes" appear in Tokyo. As we all know, the working pressure on the Japanese make them feel frustrated. They really need a quiet place to relax themselves. During relaxation, silence is what they want. The necessary communication is through paper with words on it. More and more young Japanese people prefer such a place to relax themselves.
The silent relaxation is not only in coffee shops. Even in some dancing halls, the dancers dance without loud music heard in the place, but silent discos(迪斯科). All the dancers in such a dancing hall wear wireless headphones (无线耳机) connected with the DJ. The music can be turned up or down according to the dancers' own need. It sounds really interesting.
Most people think it is a kind of progress in society to respect(尊敬) others, no matter what you are doing. If you have a trip to Tokyo, you can find such a silent café to relax yourself in silence.
