I'm David Brown. I stay at home for eight  (hour). I don't know what I can do but I find it boring to stay at home. That makes me feel bad. So, I  dressed and get out for some fresh (新鲜的) air .

I live in a small neighborhood. Only some people are riding bikes on the street. It's about 6:30 p.m. now and many people  (cook) at home. The food must be delicious. It smells good. I remember that I need to eat dinner, too.  I never eat out. I'm not sure  the restaurants are. I have to ask for help. A man tells me that there's one  North Street and the food there is nice. To get there, I need to go across the road and then turn right. After walking past two crossings, I find it on  (I) left. It's kind of  (noise) in it because it's dinner time. I  (quiet) sit down and order my food. Then I see an old man coming in and walking to me.

"Can I sit here?" he asks. "Yes," I say.

"You look unhappy, young man. Are you sure I can sit here?" the old man asks again.

"Oh, of course. I'm just thinking about my bad life. Today is my birthday but I lost my job."

"Why not stop  (think) like this? You can get the next good job soon," the old man says, "Life is not only about hard times. Happy birthday!"

In November 1979, pupils in England were able to watch a new TV program (call) Monkey. Most of them were hearing this story the first time. However, this story is not new to Chinese children. The Monkey King or Sun Wukong is the main character in the (tradition) Chinese book Journey to the West.

The Monkay King is not just any normal monkey. fact, he sometimes does not even look like a monkey ! This is because he can make 72 (change) to his shape and size, turning himself into different animals and objects. But he can hide his tail, he cannot turn himself into a man. To fight bad people, the Monkey King uses magic stick. Sometimes he can make the stick so small that he can keep it in his ear. other times, he is able to make it big and long.

And as soon as the TV program came out more than 30 years ago, (west) children became interested in reading this story because the clever Monkey King keeps (fight) to help the weak and never gives up.

Tim is in a family of four- his parents, his big brother Ricky and him. Tim and Ricky are in the same school,  Tim is in Class Two, Grade Seven and Ricky is, in Class Two, Grade Nine. Now they get home  school.

"I have an invitation(邀请)card for Parents' Day, "Tim says. 

Really? I have one, too.  is your Parents' Day?" Ricky asks. 

"In January. And it's on the morning of the tenth. What about  (you)?" Tim asks. 

"It's on the  (twelve) of January. And it's in the morning, too, "Ricky

"Well, let me give the cards to Dad and Mom, "Tim says and wants  (get) Ricky's card. 

"No, I'll give  (they), "Ricky says. 

This time,  cards are torn (被撕坏了). Then they quickly stick the cards together and put them in their parents' room. 

On January 10th, the parents come to Ricky's classroom. But there are no other(其他的) (parent) there. When Ricky sees his parents, he says, "Sorry, today is Tim's Parents' Day. "So they quickly get to Tim's classroom and they are happy because they're not . 

    Emily has so many at home. She has to do her homework after school. She can't go out school nights. She has tothe dishes after dinner, then she can watch TV for half an hour. She usually reads books at night. She has to be in bed by ten o'clock because she has to get up the next morning. She joins a music club. She has to the guitar every day.

Our School Rules

    There are many rules in our school. School rules make us safe and happy.

    From Monday Friday, we have to get to school before 7:00 in the morning. We must wear our school and I think it is good for us because they can make us look smart. We must  to our teachers carefully in class and finish our homework on time. We can't mobile phones in class.

    As a saying goes, “ Nothing can be accomplished without norms or standards.” We must follow our school rules,our school rules are sometimes quite strict.

    I have twin brothers， Tim and Tom. They look the  and a lot of people don't know which is which. Theyhave brown hair and blue eyes， and they always  the same jeans and T-shirts.

    They like wearing the same things， and they like doing the same things， . For example， they both like pop music， soccer and computers. They likesoccer matches on TV every weekend. They'd like to play computer games every night， but our mother says they can'tthey have a lot of homework to do.

    They are twins， but there are some differences them. Tim hard at school， but Tom doesn't.

    Our mother is often away from home because she travels a in her job， so I to take care of my twin brothers in house. But I think it's fun to have twin brothers.
