Wang Yongheng is a 56-year-old farmer from Zhuzhou, Hunan Province. His son's1 was saved by people at a swimming pool many years ago. From then on, he started to patrol (巡逻) the Xiangjiang River. He2 to stop people from drowning(溺水). 

At the age of 3, Wang's son3 his flotation ring(游泳圈) while playing in a pool. "Without the ring, my son went underwater. And I didn't4 him calling for help.5 , a girl found my son in need. She jumped into the water to save him. With the help of other people,6 was pulled out. If not for those7 people, I might not see my son any more," Wang said.

Mobile phone has become a problem for middle schools. Some middle schools in China have banned (禁止) students from carrying mobile phones during school hours. 

Mobile phone use among children has become a problem for the school this year. Several children have got mobile phones as birthday gifts, and more students will want them. 

Yu Hongyi, an official, said mobile phones' use is a distraction（娱乐） to students during school hours and it also give teachers so much trouble in their classrooms. Teachers were also saying that sometimes students might use phone messages to cheat during exams. 

Many teachers said students should not have mobile phones at school, but if there was a good reason, they could leave their phones at school office. They also said there were many reasons why the students should not have mobile phones at school: they were easy to lose and were a distraction for studies. Many people say that they understand why parents would want their children to have phones, but they think schools should let the students know when they can use their mobile phones.

Why are German fairy tales so interesting? Maybe it's because they come from a great place famous for its stories—the Black Forest.

The Black Forest is in southwest Germany. It's the largest forest in the country and one of the most beautiful. It's famous for its trees and lovely views. There are valleys and waterfalls there. It's a good place to start a story. 

Don't forger to bring something back if you visit. People there are good at making clocks, musical instruments and watches. 

Some people think only school children do not agree with their parents, however, it is not true. Communication is a problem for parents and children of all ages. If it's hard for you to communicate with your parents, don't worry about it. Here are some suggestions for you to bridge generation gap(代沟). 

Don't argue with your parents. Your parents probably won't consider your ideas if you are shouting at them. Make sure you understand why you are unhappy. Then think about what you want to say to your parents. If you don't think you can speak to them at the moment, try writing a letter. 

Try to reach a compromise(和解). Perhaps you and your parents disagree(有分歧) on something. You can keep your disagreement and try your best to accept each other. Michael's mother didn't agree with him about buying a car. They argued over it, but finally they came to a compromise. Michael bought the car, but only drove it on certain days. Of course your parents might refuse to compromise on something. In these situations, it is especially important to show love and respect(尊敬) to them. Showing respect will keep your relationship strong. 

Talk about your values. The values of your parents are probably different from those of your own. Tell your parents what you care about, and why. Understanding your values might help them see your purposes in life. 

A good relationship with your parents can make you a better and happier person. It is worth having a try.

All the students sat up straight and waited for the test to begin. The teacher began to give the test papers to all the students. After he finished handing out the test papers, he asked them to begin.

When talking about livestreaming（直播）, you might think of makeup vloggers（美妆博主） and movie stars. But Zeng Qinghuan, from Loudi, Hunan, is really different. She has turned her village into a livestreaming room to help villagers live a better life. 

Zeng now has lots of fans online from all over the country. These years, she has posted about 370 short videos showing the life of people in her village. With the help of livestreaming, she has sold lots of delicious food made in her village, like fermented tofu（腐乳）, preserved pork（腊肉 ）and dry the sweet potatoes. 

Zeng used to study and work in big cities. After working in big cities for 4 years, she went back to her village to look after her grandmother. Later she found that she could do something to help her village. "I am a daughter of the great mountains. I should take part in making my village more beautiful," she said. 

Zeng hopes that her story can encourage（鼓励）more young people to go back and build their villages. She plans to help 100 villages to be quite different in three years, and now two villages have joined her.

So the spirit dove into the water  and brought back a silver axe. Once again, the man said that was not his axe. The spirit went down atime and returned with the woodcutter's old axe. The woodcutter said in excitement, "That is the right one!" The spirit was so happy with the woodcutter's honesty that she gave him the other two axes as presents.
