Something interesting happened during the last Christmas shopping hour in London.
A poor man, who, though no fault of his own, found himself locked in a big store late on Christmas Eve.
When he realized that, he decided to make the best of it.
In the store, of course, there was plenty of food, drink, and bedding.
There must have been radios and television sets, which no one could tell whether the man had ever used.
When the store reopened, the man was discovered in bed with a large number of empty bottles beside him.
He seemed to have been very happy. Everyone else was enjoying Christmas, so he saw no reason why he should not do the same.
Happily enough, he let the police take him away.
Perhaps he had a better Christmas than usual.
It was reported that the man would have to stay in prison for seven days.
It seemed, however, the judge was not going to do anything for the store,
as he said that the store had become better known through the story in the newspapers and on television.

I get up every day at 7 o'clock in the morning.
School starts at 8 o'clock, so I need at least an hour to get ready.
After I wake up, I go downstairs and eat the breakfast prepared for me by my mom, who wakes
up even earlier than me.
Even though it only takes me 15 minutes to eat breakfast, I spend about half an hour
downstairs finishing my breakfast and watching my favorite cartoons before going back upstairs
to take a shower.
After eating breakfast, watching TV and taking a shower, it is usually about 7.45.
This leaves me just enough time to get dressed and ride my bike to get to school.
School lasts from 8 o'clock in the morning to 3 o'clock in the afternoon with a one-hour
break in the middle of the day for lunch.
I buy my lunch every day in the school cafe and eat with all my friends at the big table
in the center of the cafe.
We usually take about 20 minutes to eat lunch and use the rest of the time to play basketball
or soccer.
After school is over, I go directly to baseball practice from 3.30 to 5 o'clock p.m. at the
field down the street from my house.
After I get back home, I eat the dinner my mom has prepared and then do my homework.
I go immediately to bed after watching TV for exactly one hour at 9 o'clock p.m. every
night.
