But there are some other special ways of getting to school.
In a village in Indonesia（印度尼西亚）, the students have to cross a broken (坏了的) bridge over a big river to get to their school. To keep the students safe(安全的), their parents have to go with them every time.
In a city in Egypt (埃及), some schools have no real school buses. The students usually take the truck ( 卡 车 ) to school, and there are always too many students in the truck.
In a far-away village school in Philippines, the students there take a bamboo raft ( 竹 筏 ) to school every day. It sounds fun, but it takes a lot of time to go to school, and it' s kind of dangerous.
In a village in Sri Lanka, some students have to cross a bridge made of a piece of wood (木头) to get to school. It' s dangerous, too.
For all these students above, it' s not very easy to get to school. But they are not afraid at all. They love school and their teachers. And they think it' s fun to study in school and play with their classmates.
Zhang Ming is having a trip in America. He lives in New York City Hotel. This is a 4-star hotel. Every room has TV and Wi-Fi. All rooms come with a microwave ( 微波炉) . And they have Sports Center, Shopping Center, but No-smoking here.

A man is going to the house of a friend. It is quite far away and so he takes some sandwiches along for his lunch. As he goes along, he says to himself, "My friend is sure to give me a very nice meal (膳食). He is going to give me good wine ( 酒 ) to drink. So what' s the use of these dry sandwiches? " As he says this, he throws (扔) them onto the ground.
He goes on and comes to a river. The river is very deep because of the rain in the past few days. He cannot cross the river. He hopes there is a boat to take him over. So he waits and waits. He waits for a long time. Then the sun begins to set. The man says to himself, "I cannot go to my friend' s house today. I must go home. "
Then he starts for home. Soon he feels very hungry. He wants to have something to eat very much. But he doesn' t have anything. Suddenly ( 突 然 ) he sees dry, dirty and hard sandwiches on the road. He is very happy. He picks ( 捡 ) them up and eats them all.
Do not throw good things away. You may need them later on (以后).
In the zoo I can see tigers, elephants, monkeys, pandas, bears, dolphins, giraffes and many other animals. Tigers, bears and some snakes are very dangerous. That is why they have to stay in cages. They should be free (自由). The animals in cages can' t be happy.
They can run very fast. They catch and eat small animals
like rabbits and deer, but now they live in small rooms. They have nothing to do every day. So they walk in the cages, and they want to get out. When they are tired, they sleep. I feel sorry for them.
I think the most interesting animal in the zoo is the dolphin.
They swim fast and they jump very high. They can play with a ball. They can stand up and "walk" on water! If you fall into the water and can' t swim, they may come up to help you.
