Keep healthy
Being healthy is important. Bill' s family play sports for half an hour every day. Lisa is Bill' s sister. She likes dancing, so she is in the dancing club. Bill is in the school swimming club because he likes swimming very much. And his parents run every morning.
Evening time is family time
They can' t watch TV or play computer games after dinner. The family usually sit on the sofa and talk. Bill always talks about his school and friends. Sometimes they take a walk.
Always say " I love you" and " Thank you"
Bill says " I love you" to his parents in the morning before he goes to school, and in the evening before he goes to bed. His parents say it to him, too. When Bill helps his mother, she says " Thank you. " They show their love and thanks all the time.
Hainan is in the south of China and it is beautiful. There is no winter in Hainan. It' s not cold all year round. Many people go there in winter, because it' s cold in the north of China. In summer, it' s very hot. It' s usually sunny, but it often rains. So people often take a pair of sunglasses (太阳镜) and a raincoat (雨衣) at the same time. People can enjoy many kinds of fruits like bananas and coconuts (椰子) there.
Hainan is a good place to go for holidays and have fun. People can go fishing, go boating, go swimming and so on. When we want to have a rest, we can walk on the beach and enjoy the fresh air and white clouds. It's so interesting.

My name is Bill. I come from a town in Canada. But now I live in New York in the US. Welcome to my neighborhood. It is very nice and there are a lot of buildings (建筑物) in it. Please walk along the main (主要的) road and at the first crossing, there is a pay phone. Next to it, there is a fruit shop. There is a big restaurant across from the fruit shop. A bookstore is behind the restaurant.
On Green Road, there is a post office. It is between a bank and a library. Walk along Green Road, and turn right to Star Road. There is a hospital on your left. My father works there. At the end of Green Road, there is a big park. There are always a lot of people in it in summer. Look! Some boys are playing games in the center of the park. Some girls are dancing over there. Watch the sky
Look at clouds. How the clouds move (移动) also means different (不同的) weather.
Usually, white and high (高) clouds mean (意味着) good weather. Black clouds mean bad weather. Your parents may tell you, " Red sky in the morning, don' t go out. Red sky at night, walk for a long time. " Well, this is quite right.
Watch animals
Look at the birds (鸟). Usually, they fly very high in the sky. Sometimes the birds fly very low (低) in the sky. And this means bad weather. Birds also get very quiet before it rains.
Look at the turtles (海龟). . You can see them on the road one to two days before it rains. Look at the cows. Sometimes, they will stay together and keep quiet, because bad weather is on the way.

There is an amusement (娱乐) center in our neighborhood. Many people in our city like to go there 1 it is a good place to have fun. It' s on Green Street, 2 Yangguang Store and the post office. People often go there in the evening. They can do 3 kinds of activities. Old people can play 4 chess, talk and dance there. Young people can sing and play the guitar.
Students can also have a good 5 there. They can read books, play games and do other 6 things. If they want to 7 , they can go to the swimming pool. Next to the swimming pool, 8 is a big park. People often exercise at the park because they love the clean 9 and sunshine. To get to the park, people just have to cross Center Street.
Another reason (原因) for people going to the amusement center is the nice food there. Many people come and 10 it with their friends in summer evenings.
We are students from Thailand, and we want (save) the elephants. The elephant is one of Thailand' s ( symbol). Our first flag had a white elephant on it. This stands for good luck.
Elephants are smart animals. They can play soccer or music. They can also draw very (good). People say that " elephant never forgets" . Elephants can walk for a long time never get lost. They can also remember places food and water. This helps them to live.
But elephants are great danger. People cut down many trees so elephants (lose) their homes now. People also kill elephants for their ivory. Today there (be) only about 3,000 elephants (over 100,000 before). We must save the trees and not buy things (make) of ivory. Remember that March 13th is Thai Elephant Day.
