His friend Zara lives on the farm next door. She has horses, cows, sheep and goats. Zara's goats like Tom's garden. They like it very much.
"Zara!" says Tom, "Your goats are in my garden!" The goats eat Tom's green beans. Zara takes the goats home. She shuts the gate with a rock. The goats jump onto the rock, over the gate and into Tom's garden.
"Zara!" says Tom, "Your goats are in my garden!" The goats eat Tom's cabbages. Zara ties the goats up with ropes. The goats bite the ropes and jump into Tom's garden. The goats eat all of Tom's tomatoes and carrots.
Zara is a good, kind friend. "Take my goats to the show!" says Zara. " Your
vegetables have made them big and strong," Tom and Zara have a good day at the show. The goats win the first prize.
