Guangzhou is in the south(南方)of China. It has four seasons.
Spring is a beautiful season in Guangzhou. Trees are green. Flowers are everywhere. School children go on spring-outings. They have picnics in parks and on farms. At weekends, children fly kites. In spring in Guangzhou, some days can be very wet. On the wet days, you can see water on walls and floors.
Summer is a long season in Guangzhou. The weather is hot and sunny. There are always some heavy rains in summer. Children are in the long summer holiday. Many children love summer because there is no school.
Autumn is a nice season in Guangzhou. Flowers are everywhere. The weather is cool. The sky is clean and blue. People often leave their home and have fun in nature(大自然).
Winter is short. The weather gets cold, but not very cold. Usually people can have a warm Spring Festival. There's no snow in Guangzhou. Children can't make a snowman. What a pity!
There are many busy roads in a big city like Guangzhou. To stay safe on the road, we must follow some rules(遵守规则).
First, walk on the sidewalk(人行道), not on the street. Cars and buses run fast on the street. It is not safe to walk on the street. You may get hurt. And don't play on the street. It's very dangerous.
Second, cross the road at a safety crossing. If there is no safety crossing near you, you must wait at the sidewalk and look out for(小心提防)the cars and buses. You can also go with people so drivers can see you more clearly(清楚地). When you cross the road, first look to the left and then to the right, because people drive on the right side(边) of the road in China. But when you are in the UK and Australia, you must first look to the right and then to the left because people drive on the left side of the road.
Third, follow the traffic lights. We shouldn't cross the road when the traffic light is red. You can go when the green light is on.
Remember, your safety is very important.
