• 13. (2024高三上·鞍山模拟) 阅读理解

At lunchtime, Sha Jinyuan, 22, sent a WeChat message to her meal partner, or fandazi, asking:"What to cat?" After her partner replied with "don't know", Sha said, "Let's just go!" This conversation resulted in the pair meeting and finding a place to eat together. Sha and her partner Wu Hao, 21, arc an example of a form of socializing that is popular with young Chinese who are not necessarily friends. Rather, they are dazi, or activity partners for specific pursuits.

The term"dazi" has become especially popular online, with many social media users posting their requirements as they seek partners who share similar interests with themselves. The Shanghai Dialect Dictionary published in 2007 defines dazi as"those who play cards together, or are partners in extension". However, dazi now refers to a new kind of social connection with the aim of pursuing shared interests, rather than yielding to (迁就) each other to develop lasting friendships.

Early last month, a study of 1,335 young people conducted by China Youth Daily's social survey center and online survey platform wenjuan.com found that 72.6 percent said they had one or more dazi. Nearly 69 percent of the young people surveyed believe that finding a dazi is a brave step in moving out of their comfort zone to seek a new form of social interaction.

Xu Kun, an expert at the 12355 hotline for youth psychological counseling and legal aid in Dalian, said: "Young people enjoy doing things together. Unlike relationships with colleagues and friends, those with a dazi are temporary and almost superficial. With less responsibility and pressure, the two people concerned get along more easily."

Some netizens believe that a dazi relationship can be compared with a"fast food friendship", which is not high in nutritional value, but filling and convenient. However, with fast food there is always the risk of it"causing upset stomachs". Other problems exist between dazi. Some people book a table at a restaurant, but their meal dazi fails to show up because he or she does not like their partner's appearance.

1. (1) What's the function of the first paragraph?
A . To tell the story of two partners. B . To explain the meaning of"dazi". C . To introduce the topic of"dazi". D . To give an example of pursuits.
2. (2) According to the passage, how will one of the"dazi" probably react if he is not interested in a proposed idea?
A . He will simply go his own way. B . He will adjust himself to the idea. C . He will try to keep the friendship. D . He will persuade the other to change the idea.
3. (3) How does the author show the popularity of"dazi" among young people?
A . By giving an example. B . By making a comparison. C . By giving a definition. D . By providing data.
4. (4) What can be inferred about a dazi relationship?
A . It is reliable and lasting. B . It's easy and satisfactory. C . It will cause upset stomachs. D . Its disadvantages outweigh advantages.

In 2015, in Paris, the nations of the world committed themselves to trying their best to prevent the planet warming by more than 1.5℃ from its pre-industrial state. Even at the time, the goal looked ambitious. In recent years, it has come to seem almost impossible.

On May 17th, 2023 the World Metcorological Organization (WMO), an arm of the United Nations, added to the gloom. It said there was a 66% chance that the world would go beyond the 1.5℃ threshold (关口) in at least one of the next five years. That is a big jump from its estimates of even a year ago, when the WMO assessed the likelihood at 48%. Even if the 1.5℃ target is not breached (突破) , the WMO thinks it is virtually certain that one of the coming five years will be the hottest in human history.

The biggest of those variations is the EI Nino Southern Oscillation (ENSO), a natural cycle of warming and cooling in the waters of the eastern Pacific Ocean hat has widespread effects on the climate. The world has just seen three"La Nina" years in a row, the name given to the cooler phase of the cycle, helping hold global temperatures down. It now seems almost certain that a warmer"EI Nino" phase will begin sometime later this year, setting up 2024 to be a very hot year.

However, there are also some encouraging signs. Global emissions of greenhouse gases from fossil fuels seem to have gone sideways for several years, leading some researchers to speak cautiously of a possible peak. Rystad Energy, a Norwegian think-tank, predicted earlier this year that global emissions of carbon dioxide from industry could peak in 2025 and then begin a slow decline.

Even so, the world's actions still fall far short of its promises. Even the upper end of the goals agreed in Paris- of limiting warming to "well below 2℃"- will be achievable only with serious action. For Europe and America to meet their commitments, for instance, would require them to switch off all their fossil-fired power plants within the next three decades. And simply stopping emissions will not be enough.

1. (1) What does the underlined phrase"added to the gloom" in the 20d paragraph mean?
A . were more ambitious to prevent global warming. B . assessed bigger likelihood of the earth getting cool. C . took on greater commitment to make the earth cool. D . made worse predictions about the earth getting warmer.
2. (2) What can we know about ENSO from the passage?
A . It can greatly influence the global temperature. B . It's impact will possibly make 2024 a cool one. C . It's a cycle of warming and cooling in the waters globally. D . It has affected the world temperature for four years in a row.
3. (3) What is the attitude of the author towards the actions of the world?
A . Objective. B . Unsatisfied. C . Optimistic. D . Conservative.
4. (4) What will the following paragraph probably talk about?
A . The goals to be achieved. B . Other measures to be taken. C . More reasons for the agreement. D . Some commitments to live up to.

Once you have decided what kind of hiking you prefer, it is time to choose hiking shoes that will suit your needs and your budget.Never break in new hiking shoes while on a long hike,as this can ]cad to foot problems that may end the hike early.

Depending on the type of mountain hiking the hiker plans to do, he or she should be sure to research the area to be hiked as well as the weather conditions he or she will meet.Choose clothing carefully, as it can be the difference between a comfortable trip and a painful one.

Just the basics will do for most hikers. But if the hiker plans on spending several days or weeks in the woods, it is a wise decision to prepare a thorough one that can handle different injuries.

A. Hiking safety begins even before starting the trip.

B. This may determine the type of clothing that needs to be packed.

C. Packing a good first aid package for a hiking trip is really a must.

D. Some people enjoy desert hiking or coastal hiking along the ocean.

E. Whatever hiking shoes you choose, you must ensure they are comfortable.

F. Day hikes are relatively short, and they can be done in a day or part of a day.

G. Most importantly, be prepared and know the area in which you will be hiking.

八、八、第四部分,写作,第二节(满分 25分)
• 19. (2024高三上·鞍山模拟) 阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。

Mrs. Palin spoke as she walked to the front of the classroom, "Next Wednesday I'll give you a test to check your ability as a conductor. Now select one of the composers listed on the chalkboard. And after class, find a tape containing the composition created by the composer. During the test, use the tape player to play the composition. When the music starts, imagine you are the conductor of an orchestra (管弦乐队) that performs the composer's music." And then she smiled, "You'll receive the test in front of your classmates."

"What? A test in front of the classmates? It will kill me." I said to myself. Although normally I perform well in music and often have high marks, I am quite a shy girl. After a short while, I took a deep breath and scanned the list of names on the chalkboard. One name caught my attention. ."Who's that person?" I wondered. I didn't know, but that was going to be my choice.

Seated in the classroom, I fixed my eyes on that name anxiously, hoping no on would announce that name. Finally, it was my tum. I said without a second thought, "Johannes Brahms." Once I said the name panic washed over me. I sighed, "How am I going to do this? I know nothing about the person and his composition. But I have to perform in front of my classmates and teacher."

Later in the day, I went to a store and bought a tape that contained Johannes Brahms's compositions and its relevant music score (乐谱) . Back home, I played the tape, and tried to get familiar with the composition. When listening to the composition and looking at the music score, I held a stick and moved my arms to and fro (来回地) , pretending to be guiding an orchestra. During the following days I kept practicing but didn't perform quite well. The composition was indeed hard to me.

When the big day came, I felt nervous as I slipped into my seat and waited for my tum to perform. Eventually, Mrs. Palin called my name,"Jill, it's your turn."

注意:1. 续写词数应为150左右;2.请按照如 下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。

Then, I forced myself to walk to the front of the classroom.

……

The next day, Mrs. Palin handed each student a piece of paper with score.
