Molai grew up in a tiny village in India. The village lay near some wetlands which became his second home. He learned the value and beauty of 1 there from a very young age.
When he was 16, Molai began to notice something 2 happening around his home. A flood had hit the area earlier that year and the 3 it caused had driven away a number of birds.4 , the number of snakes had declined as well. He 5 that it was because there weren't enough trees to protect them from the 6 .The solution, of course, was to plant trees so the animals could seek 7 during the daytime. He turned to the forest department for help, but was told that nothing would grow there. However, Molai went looking on his own and 8 a nearby island where he began to plant trees.
Watering young plants in the dry season was tough for the boy. Molai built at the 99 of each sapling(幼树) a bamboo platform, where he placed earthen pots with small holes to 10 rainwater. The water would then drip on the plants below.
Molai continued to plant trees for the next 37 years. His efforts have resulted in 1360 acres of naturally-grown land that has become home to many plants and animals.
ChatGPT was released late last year by company Open AI. The technology chats in a conversational way, answering questions from users. The online chatbot (chat robo) has been trained on lots of information from the Internet-it can have a human-like conversation answering questions.
Experts say it can be used to write articles, stories, poems and even solve computer problems. But there are limits to what it can do, which Open AI admits. Sometimes it writes answers which are incorrect or don't make sense, and it sometimes guesses what the user has asked it instead of asking more follow-up questions to understand the questions better.
ChatGPT.is getting mixed opinions in terms of learning. Some think students might use it to cheat, while others think they should use the tool in the classroom to help children learn. Some people believe that ▲ .In their opinion, just like when the calculator was created, people were unsure at first, but if teachers introduce the technology and teach students how to use it, that can help with their learning.
Even though Chat GPT can answer questions which may be able to help students out with homework, it might not always give the correct facts. This is because its main purpose is to create sentences that could have been written by a human-rather than searching on the Internet for facts. This means it can sometimes get things wrong, which wouldn't be good for homework!
However, ChatGPT still has a long way to go. The developers of it and other chat robots using AI are always looking for ways of improving their accuracy(准确性).
Social media(社交媒体) has its positive aspects, but it can also bring some problems.
Have you ever been bored and decided to check your We Chat moments, only to find out that your best friend is at the GreatWall or one of your classmates is eating delicious noodles at your favorite restaurant, or one of your basketball teammates is visiting the giant pandas in Sichuan?Have you had the feeling that others are enjoying life more than you are?If your answers are both "Yes", you are experiencing FOMO—the fear of missing out.
Researchers have found that over 75%of young people are experiencing FOMO from time to time.Social media is the main culprit for it.Because it is so easy today for people to see what their friends are doing, eating, buying and talking about. And they are afraid of missing out on important and new information when they are away from social networks. However, it is impossible for us to enjoy the same activities others are enjoying on social media.Failing to realize this truth, we often let FOMO lead us to compare our lives with those of others. This comparison leaves us feeling dissatisfied. However, our lives have both good and bad moments, but all we see on social media are the picture-perfect moments others share. FOMO also makes us check social media more often, which can cause feelings of sadness, loneliness and boredom.
So what should we do if we have FOMO?Researchers advised that we face it and change our way of thinking. They also explained that taking part in social activities could help us realize that nothing bad was happening. What's more, they suggested finding the joy in the present and not believing the unreal information or news on the Internet."Take it as a chance to do what you really tove, and turn your FOMO into your JOMO—joy of missing out," one researcher said
①Join a voluntary group.
②Accept what you are having now.
③Check your friends' We Chat moments from time to time.
④Develop your hobbies.
⑤Stop believing the news on the Internet.

"You area girl! It is as simple as that Boys and girls have different roles to play.I have 11 hungry mouths to feed and I need your help! You are the oldest girl not working, so it is your job to help me.That's the way of our people. Now go and fry some more chicken."

Dad came home then and brought the boys a local newspaper, in which there was news about football scouts(球探) from England visiting Ghana(加纳). These scouts had asked to be allowed to visit schools to look for players of the future.Adi be and Sen ze looked at eachother and cheered, "Wow. I'm going to be like Essien!" And they started arguing which one would make it as a superstar.
Mavis decided to take this chance. She stole out of home. When she arrived at the playground, one player happened to get injured and the coach was worried "I can take his place!Mavis shouted.Though it was unbelievable to let a girl play, the coach agreed. During the second half, she made an amazing shot!
When the game was over, the scouts all stood up, cheering.

Luckily, China has spent much time (leach) people Mandarin, especially older people. Her grandma didn't speak Mandarin before. When she moved to the city five y cars ago, she began to learn it community volunteers .Nowsheis 64 and can speak Mandarin (good)!
