There is a photo of my grandpa on my desk. Looking at the photo, I always can't help1 . I miss him so much. I always think if he is happy in heaven.2 he has been dead for many years, the sweet3 together with him are still in my mind.
During the summer holidays, my grandpa went4 and let me come with him. He handed me the rod*, held my arms and taught me how I could throw my line into the water. Then it was time for me to5 by myself. The6 warmed us and we talked happily. I felt proud of him when he told me his interesting experiences.
"While fishing, we have to wait7 , if you worry a lot, the fish won't come." he went on, "The fish may come8 they may not. It doesn't matter. We're out in the sun. It's a beautiful day. If it rained, we couldn't be here. We're9 to have the warmth of the sun." He sat there with his back against a tree. "Yes, it's a great day," he said10 a smile on his face.
I watched our bobbers*. No fish pulled them under the water that day. It didn't matter. When I was with grandpa, I felt I was not a little child any more. I was like a friend of his. Just being with him was11 from being with others.
Everyone liked him. He enjoyed all his life and always easily found something12 when he was in trouble. Even sometimes he could get13 from it. I wanted to be like him in the future.
He was an amazing man. In the past few years together with him, he has taught me not just 14 to fish. He has also taught me the importance of working hard and the15 of a good laugh. It will be valuable in my life forever.

Liu Cixin's The Three-Body Problem trilogy* has been popular as a modern science fiction classic since it won the Hugo Award* in 2015. Many of the series'* fans have wondered when there would be a film or television adaptation* of the series*.
Interestingly enough, it turns out that there already is one: a cartoon series called My Three Body. It has been running on Bilibili for the last couple of years. The series uses the computer game, the Minecraft, to bring its story to life.
My Three Body is directed* by Li Zhenyi, who first discovered Liu's work in 2006. As a fan of cartoon and the sci-fi novels, he began adapting his beloved series on his own in 2014.
"At that time, the first book in the series had not won any prizes yet. It was not as popular as it is now in China," Li said. "Many people didn't know about the novel or what it is about. So I wanted to make a video to help everyone understand the story better, since it's easier to watch a video than to read a book."
Bilibili recently released the third season of Li's cartoon series named My Three Body, Legend of Zhang Beihai. People who have watched it speak highly of its story, pictures and music. The series has even scored 9.7 out of 10 on review platform Douban.
Li said he and his team had never expected it to be such a huge success. Meanwhile, he was glad to see that he has got his final goal: to help The Three-Body Problem series reach more people through his work.
Walking is a hobby I keep on for a long time. However, it is also a habit leading to being laughed at. I often walk about three miles from home to work instead of taking the subway. Sometimes, kind-hearted drivers will offer me a ride, thinking that my car has broken down.
But for me, walking is a good opportunity to relax myself. Besides, it helps my back recover from a day spent bent* in front of a computer screen. In terms of health, I have always thought I'd have the last laugh, and now there is even more evidence* on my side.
Scientists began a study on walking on volunteers in 2000. Nine years later, brain* scans showed that those who had walked more had greater brain volume* than those who had walked less. Four years after that, the volunteers were tested again--this time for dementia*. Among the group, 116 people showed signs of memory loss or dementia. Those who had walked the most--at least seven miles each week-- were half as likely to have cognitive problems as those who had walked the least.
Another study has found that the simple act of walking may improve memory in old age. As we become old, our brains shrink, which can lead to the loss* of memory. However, experts say there's still not enough data* to prove that exercise can stop memory loss. It's also too soon to say whether exercise may stop dementia or simply make it happen a little later in some people. But for those who suffer from dementia, even making it a little later could mean a lot.
Finally, here came the big day: my first day in high school! I got up early and hurried out of the door in my excitement to get to know my new school.
The school was still quiet when I arrived, so I decided to walk around. I was looking at the noticeboard when I heard a voice. "New here?" Turning around, I saw a white- haired man. "Yes," I answered. "I want to see what life is going to be like here." "Don't worry," he gave me a smile. "You'll soon find out."
How true these words were! When my English teacher entered the classroom, I was surprised to see the same man I had met earlier.
"Good morning, everyone. Before we start, please come to the front one by one and introduce* yourself. I'll go first..."
"What?!" I tried to turn on my brain but the engine* just wouldn't start." I should say my name. But what else? What could I say to make a good first impression*? Something about my collection?" I was thinking about my words when the girl next told me, "It's your turn!"
With butterflies in my stomach, I breathed* deeply. "Hi, I'm Zhang Hao." Everyone started laughing. "Nice to know we share the same name," said my new teacher. I had been too nervous to pay attention when he talked about himself! Although I felt awful, his words made me a lot more relaxed!
When we had all introduced ourselves, Mr Zhang said, "Well done! I know this isn't easy. But this is like what you are going to face in high school. Challenges like this might sometimes put you under difficult feelings. But what you do decides everything. ▲. That way, you'll make the most of your time in high school."
I guess this was a good beginning to my new school life.

Dear Li Ming,
I feel very glad to meet you on the Internet and want to be your pen friend. I'd like to know something about you.
I wonder if we share the same hobbies. What are your hobbies? Why do you like them?
I'm learning Chinese these days. I found it difficult. Can you tell me some good ways to learn Chinese? Perhaps we can learn from each other. What do you think of it?
I'm looking forward to your reply.
Yours,
Thomas
