Last week I arrived1 the far﹣away country village where I grew up, in a place now popular with tourists. I remembered the two old shops and2 number of old houses in the hills. I realized very quickly3 in fact hardly anything is the same although in many ways it appears unchanged. 

All the traditional houses are there, of course, and both the shops. But none of the houses are4 by local people. All of5 belong to city people, who arrive every weekend in their cars.

Wukong, the Dark Matter Particle Explorer satellite （暗物质粒子探测卫星）, is named after Chinese superhero Monkey King. According to Journey to the West

The name of the space station, Tiangong, means "Heavenly Palace". In Chinese myths, this is the home of Tian Di. Now Tiangong Space Station is a home for Chinese astronauts in space. And China welcomes foreign astronauts to Tiangong so that they can work together. 

Tianwen, China's Mars missions （任务）, gets its name from the poem Tianwen by Qu Yuan. Qu Yuan is a well﹣known poet from ancient China. In Tianwen, stars, nature, showing his hunger for truth. Perhaps the Tianwen missions will end up answering some of Qu Yuan's questions. 

If you look into more names of Chinese space programs, you will find that they all have beautiful meanings. We, the Chinese people（珍藏已久的） space dream. So the naming of Chinese space programs is taken very seriously.

We all love food. But how much do you know about the food in your hometown? No. 1 Secondary School from Chengdu asked its students to do something different with the food. 

Lin Tingyue, 14, traveled with her dad in western Sichuan during 2022 summer holiday. She tasted so many delicious foods along the way. So she drew a food map. There are mutton, beef and bread pieces in soup in Dawu, diced pork in the pot in Hailuogou and more. Her favorite dish is fish hot pot in Ya'an. When she finished eating the fish（鱼骨剑） which is believed to be able to drive away bad luck!"After drawing the map, I felt proud of my hometown and its food culture!"Lin said. 

Another student, 14﹣year﹣old Tang Zihan, made Paocai. He put in carrots, apples and pears together. Then he boiled them with sugar, salt and wine. Finally

People say Paocai can be unhealthy because there is nitrite（亚硝酸盐） in them. So Tang tried three different ways of fermentation （发酵法）: using DVS（发酵剂）（老窖水）and natural fermentation. It turns out that the pot with recycled pickle water is the best!It has the least nitrite in the first days and tastes better than the other two!

It's known that green tea is a symbol of Chinese culture. Also, it helps to improve health in so many ways that some people think of it as a kind of medicine. Perhaps that is why the Chinese have been using it for more than 4, 000 years to treat all kinds of medical problems. Today, caffeine, vitamin C and theanine in green tea that are good for health. 

Catechin is helpful tor lowering （降低） cancer （癌症） risk. It protects the body from cancer﹣causing substances （物质）, catechin prevents serious health problems like heart disease. 

Caffeine causes the heart to beat faster. That's why it was once thought that caffeine was not very healthy, but studies suggest that there are also good reasons for drinking caffeine. Specifically, caffeine has to do with a lower risk for Parkinson's disease and liver （肝脏）, caffeine also has some weaknesses. It can influence sleep and make people nervous, so experts advise teenagers not to have more than 100 ml of caffeine a day. This is about the caffeine of a small cup of coffee. 

Vitamin C is something that the human body cannot make enough by itself. So we have to get it through food and drink. The vitamin may play a role in improving physical conditions to colds and the flu. Also, it helps people to get well more quickly from those illnesses. 

Theanine is another healthy substance found in tea. It has been shown to lower stress, both mental and physical, and increase mind abilities. It is also used for preventing some brain diseases. 

As you can see, green tea has many good values. Drinking it may help you stay healthy. Of course, as with any healthy substance

You don't need any equipment（器材） to see some stars, but you can see  with a pair of binoculars（双筒望远镜）. Find a place where there aren't too many lights. Astronomers say that it is important to do easy things first, start by looking at the moon. You can see dark lines on the moon with normal binoculars. 

Try drawing it on different days of the month to see  it changes. After that, it's time to learn more about stars using a star map on your smart phone. First try remembering the places of stars that are easy to see. You can then use  to find other stars. Learning the names and places of the biggest stars will take time. When you have done this, you should decide if astronomy is a good hobby for you. If you e watching the sky, it is time to spend more money on a telescope（望远镜）. 

 your new telescope, try writing down when and where you see stars. Using a diary can really help you to learn about how different stars move. You can draw them too. This will make you want to learn more. 

Looking at the very big sky each night can make you feel very s and alone. There are many astronomy clubs around the world. Try to find the club in your city or town and join it. You never know, many people have found new stars and planets. Maybe a new planet will have your name.
