Natural resources are things that we use that come from Earth. Our natural resources are limited. This means that they will not last forever. Some are renewable（可再生的）, like when you plant a new tree when you cut one . Others are not renewable, like when you dig coal out of the ground. Once it is used, it is gone.
People realize the that Earth's natural resources are limited, and can do things to help conserve（节约）those resources. When you try to conserve a natural resource, you try to use less of it, so it does not get used up so fast. One way that people conserve fuel, like gasoline, is by riding a bicycle or walking when the is short instead of driving everywhere.
Water is a very important natural resource because we all need it to stay alive. We can conserve water making sure that our pipes and taps do not leak（漏） . Passengers helped each other carry luggage （行李）, and they were very kind to foreigners. We were given a card by the hotel we stayed at, on which was the address of the hotel. With the card we never got lost in the city.

Lu Xun is one of the greatest Chinese writers of the 20th century. Besides his famous stories, he also wrote many influential articles about the living conditions of Chinese people.
Born in 1881 to a wealthy family, Lu Xun had a happy childhood. In 1893, however, his grandfather, a senior government official, was put into prison for taking money.
